It's just a python or other constrictor of some kind. Sometimes you get bit when your job is to film handling wild animals. You get a little lax, and confident and now and again the animals behave in a manner you wouldn't have expected.

Work with animals occasionally you will get bit. Work around an oven and sometimes you get burned. Take a job as a police officer and sometimes you get shot at... Just a hazard of the workplace really.

I knew a guy who had a boa and he forgot to feed it for a while. He took the lid off one of the cages and dangled a rat before dropping it in and the snake stuck and got his finger instead and started chewing and swallowing. He yelled at me to get it off him and I was like, yikes! WTF, I'm supposed to open it's jaws? But somehow we managed, I don't remember how. But if you think pet snakes are cool, be careful, also if you feed it too early the snake might get chewed in half by a hungry rat.
