i kind of have to disagree because first off that bar on top was for rhythm not notes and second the drums aren't that difficult as the person says in the video' it more realistic because in real life you have pedals which the balance board represents.
so they have a mode where you are supposed to play specific notes on the screen, somewhat like rockband or something? an example of what im trying to say are the notes on top of the screen at, 1:17 ?
well actually, yeah you can follow the on screen notes, but you can add your own notes in there if you wanted to so you can add your own feel to the song.
Only if you've got children/siblings who enjoy musicmaking, or if you feel like toying around with public-domain songs and making them your own. It's a good Christmas gift; put it that way.

No. It's just that if you HAVE a Wii Balance Board, you are able to have a more in-depth play experience with a much more complicated drumset than the one you usually use in the game.

It's just i remember they days of playing so many great games on the NES, SNES & N64. The Wii has not lived upto my expectations at all. It used to be about the games and now it's more about fancy controllers and mediocre games to make use of them.
In all honesty I though Mario galaxy was good but was not the same as when I played Mario3 and Mario64.
well I think that the Wii was more like an experimental console. Now that they got the controlling system (which is quite good), they can concentrate on graphics and performance for the next console and that one then will run over X-Box and Sony...
I think the next one will be on par graphics wise with the PS3 & 360. Nintendo will always try and keep their manufacturing costs to a minimum so they can sell it at an attractive price for consumers and make max profits.
So therefor I see Nintendo being behind again in their graphics department, I honestly think that Nintendos next console will not be as popular as the wii, unless they come up with something amazing that will make it sell.
Back when third party games were also as good as Nintendo's games. Most of the people on this comments page are lucky if they have ever owned a Nintendo 64. This is one of the hardest games I've ever played - you can either play to have fun or you can play to improvise - I've only pulled off one improv and have had no luck lately. They are in there though... this is a hard game. check my videos to see the only one where I succeeded!
it's a shame about Wii Music. Good idea, but while entertaining, it was a disappointment. I would stick with Guitar Hero and Rock Band, and also Wii Sports and WiiFit.
I never said I didn't play a real instrument! I play Saxophone and Clarinet, and I tried learning Guitar, but I never did very well. That's why I prefer Guitar Hero - it's simpler to do and makes you feel like a rock star at the same time! And IMO there's no better music game than Guitar Hero! So, I'm NOT 'owned'! Have a nice day!
I like the idea of being able to play the songs creatively instead of mindlessly tapping along, but this is in serious need of songs people love and that motionplus thing.

Nintendo are doing so well they keep releasing these sort of games because casuals get them and they get more money from casual games then hardcore games.

Mario Galaxy was a quality game. And Microsoft and Sony are doing a much better job atm because they don't make their own games. The Zelda team and Mario team etc etc. are working hard. Nintendo works very hard on their games, they made this to cash in. Just wait. Shigeru is starting to doubt the quality of his Zelda games, he says they are not good enough.
And I do care about the quality of games, I'm just waiting for them to come out. They have already released their most popular franchises.

It's just i remember they days of playing so many great games on the NES, SNES & N64. The Wii has not lived upto my expectations at all. It used to be about the games and now it's more about fancy controllers and mediocre games to make use of them.
In all honesty I though Mario galaxy was good but was not the same as when I played Mario3 and Mario64.

well I think that the Wii was more like an experimental console. Now that they got the controlling system (which is quite good), they can concentrate on graphics and performance for the next console and that one then will run over X-Box and Sony...

I think the next one will be on par graphics wise with the PS3 & 360. Nintendo will always try and keep their manufacturing costs to a minimum so they can sell it at an attractive price for consumers and make max profits.
So therefor I see Nintendo being behind again in their graphics department, I honestly think that Nintendos next console will not be as popular as the wii, unless they come up with something amazing that will make it sell.
As Alastair said they are in it for the money.

Back when third party games were also as good as Nintendo's games. Most of the people on this comments page are lucky if they have ever owned a Nintendo 64. Yes Mario galaxy didn't have the same feel as Mario 64, it was still good. Don't worry Nintendo love money, the Wii is a way to get more money, and if that fails they advertise the DS even more.

Dang on any other Wii music game everyone is like cheering for the game, but in one negative review all of sudden everyone started hating on it.
It's actually a pretty good game because even though it isn't hard music but it is music. From what I learned if you learn how to play music people will come out better and more intelligent.

This is one of the hardest games I've ever played - you can either play to have fun or you can play to improvise - I've only pulled off one improv and have had no luck lately. They are in there though... this is a hard game. check my videos to see the only one where I succeeded!

it's a shame about Wii Music. Good idea, but while entertaining, it was a disappointment. I would stick with Guitar Hero and Rock Band, and also Wii Sports and WiiFit.

I never said I didn't play a real instrument! I play Saxophone and Clarinet, and I tried learning Guitar, but I never did very well. That's why I prefer Guitar Hero - it's simpler to do and makes you feel like a rock star at the same time! And IMO there's no better music game than Guitar Hero! So, I'm NOT 'owned'! Have a nice day!
