The Dow is almost 12,000 now. It has gone up about 4,000 points since Obama has been in office. That is actually called a "Bull Market". Note I said BULL rather than BEAR. During a recession--cut taxes to put more money in the hands of people so they can spend or invest it and thereby increase economic activity. This helps end recessions. But what is Obama doing? Unemployment is still rising as are housing foreclosures. Obama's pro pharmaceutical company pro HMO anti consumer health care reform affects the economy very negatively as well. Economic uncertainty is extreme, jobs are not being created and none are planned for the foreseeable future. Obama's a disaster.

During a recession--cut taxes to put more money in the hands of people so they can spend or invest it and thereby increase economic activity. This helps end recessions. But what is Obama doing? Why the hell would the Muslim colonialists want to build a Mosque in the middle of the Pennsylvania countryside other than to plant a monument celebrating Nine Eleven? He thinks the bonehead moves he's making are working and anything not going right is the fault of George Bush. Now that he's surrendering to Al Queda and Iran in Iraq and Afghanistan, I suppose when the Khmer Rouge style killing fields start showing up with millions dead--that will be George Bush's fault too. LOL There are plenty of other big cities that are more central to the identity of the American public: Chicago, New York City, Las Vegas, etc. If by heartbeat he means middle America, that would technically be the midwestern breadbasket and rustbelt.
