I see it going 2 ways depending what B-Hop will show. If he'll let it go and go for it (like he should have with Calzaghe in my opinion) - than he'll either win or lose by knockout. I see it going 2 ways depending what B-Hop will show. If he'll let it go and go for it (like he should have with Calzaghe in my opinion) - than he'll either win or lose by knockout. No 2 - he can go like with Cal one - cagey, defensive, spoiling, grabbing. Unfortunately option 2 is more likely - then he'll probably lose on points and complain. Hope not - i'm not excited about him anymore, but there's something about the age and persistence that makes me like him to the extent

Hopkins will have to forgo a lot of offense to avoid getting hit, and it will cost him the fight. Pavlik reminds me of Carlos Monzon -- he'll taunt you with, erm, *forward* -- he's right there -- and when you see what you think is your open chance, BAM!, a heat-seeking mule-kick in your face.
Should be boring, because it's Hopkins - a hoo ha ha -- but interesting, if you know what I mean.

Overrated is a low statement for a man who never been knocked out much less hurt in his 20 year career..BUT...He's not beating this kid. Kelly is a classic puncher in the likes of Tommy Hearns but his true test comes this weekend. I say Pavlik by decison.

I don't have a solid belief of who will win but I'm pretty sure it's ridiculous to assume Hopkins will get knocked out. World class chin coupled with defensive mastery against a guy with a hell of a lot less experience, especially against top opponents. Never knocked out, I've never even really seen him hurt. I don't see Kelly doing it either, no disrespect to him.

Plavik is nowhere near the hardest middleweight puncher ever. Tommy Hearns and a young Hopkins and Roy Jones along with Abraham and Pantera. He might have knocked Pantera out but Pantera was fighting going backwards(less power in his punches). I wouldn't jump the gun on this guy. He will not return to middleweight anyway. If he does it might be a mistake to face Abraham. Must force him to move up. Remember, he only beat Jermain Taylor. Hopkins cleaned out the middleweight division for him.

I believe Pavlik will KO Hopkins. I've been a Hopkins fan for YEARS as WELL as a Pavlik fan. I think Pavlik's pressuring style combined with his reach, heigth, and power will be too much for Hopkins. Pavlik has proven himself worthy with Miranda, Zertuche, and Taylor.
