The GL2 has a setting in the menu for a 16:9 aspect ratio (sorry, i can't remember what folder it's in). Although, you should note that the 16:9 setting only crops the image by cutting off the top and bottom of the frame (giving you less pixels and less clarity). This isn't bad if you're just shooting normal videos, but if you want that extra clarity it's better to stick with the 4:3 aspect ratio.
How did you use GL2 to shoot in !6:9? I Have one too~
