The best thing about highschool in my opinion was constantly being flirted with/hit on by teachers (many in which I didn't even know). It was also bad for me because due to my morals, I couldn't bring myself to sleep with a married woman.
And I don't know why people are complaining about fire drills and substitutes. Fire drills wasted class time, and its better not to have your teacher there.

And only after a full day of school and extracurricular activities, you are welcomed with homework, projects, quizzes & tests.
And since you have so many different teachers, they don't care if you were just assigned 3 projects.
1 of the things I couldn't stand was the freshmen pulling the fire alarm in the winter just to get out of class not knowing that the school had to pay every time they had to show up. Another thing I didn't like about high school was the girl drama and the freshman who thought they ran the school but had to get a wake up call.
That one asshole who followed you from Middle school and still attempt to try to make your life hell even though your obviously not the easy target you used to be.

I had 95% of the credits I needed to graduate by the end of the first semester yet I had to go to school the whole day the my last semester like everyone for reasons that make no sense. I'm happy that I didn't go prom and to me the whole prom thing is overrated in my view. I'd rather had hangout with my friends at home chilling than be around people I don't like plus I'm not spending hundreds of dollars on clothes and other stuff one time only for a social gathering.
I didn't like how the teachers excepted you to get to class on time yet you couldn't carry a bookbag to class to save time. They made us get lockers and getting it then remember the code to unlock, get the books, and then go to class on time was insane. If you were late to class, it would go on record and if you got to a certain amount, they would suspend you for a few days (Stupid). Another thing was senior year.

1. The anal creases who treated the other kids like crap. From pulling chairs out from under people to yellin out "Clue!" then throwin jackets over freshmen's heads and jumping them.
2. Standardized tests: half the teachers just taught the test throughout the year, so it trained us how to be lazy learners.

Im in high school right now and what I hate is the boys on the Basketball and Football team and the " WANNA BE" popular girls who think they run the school. They need to sit all the way down. And let's not mention the teachers who lose your work i'm like wtf how do you expect me to get the credit for the class if you losing my stuff. Smh. When it's blazing hot outside my school air conditioner and water fountain broke and when it's cold the heat don't work.

I had 95% of the credits I needed to graduate by the end of the first semester yet I had to go to school the whole day the my last semester like everyone for reasons that make no sense. I'm happy that I didn't go prom and to me the whole prom thing is overrated in my view. I'd rather had hangout with my friends at home chilling than be around people I don't like plus I'm not spending hundreds of dollars on clothes and other stuff one time only for a social gathering.

I didn't like how the teachers excepted you to get to class on time yet you couldn't carry a bookbag to class to save time. They made us get lockers and getting it then remember the code to unlock, get the books, and then go to class on time was insane. If you were late to class, it would go on record and if you got to a certain amount, they would suspend you for a few days (Stupid). Another thing was senior year.

Things i hated about high school
The Bathroom thing is true.. People always think you was going to take a shit.. LoL.. so you had to sneak in the bathroom, and sometimes the bath door was locked...so you had to get the key from a Dean
The school lunch was nasty.. but when a person was hungry as hell, if you ate it, people would come by you and say "eating that school lunch huh? or "we dont fuck with school lunch over here".. so people staved because of what there friends said.. LoL

Substitutes should learn they roles and play it... Play cards or whateva when you get one. And if you have one for gym just know you aint givin you ah ball or anythin when they know they can... 1. The anal creases who treated the other kids like crap. From pulling chairs out from under people to yellin out "Clue!" then throwin jackets over freshmen's heads and jumping them.
2. Standardized tests: half the teachers just taught the test throughout the year, so it trained us how to be lazy learners.
3. Hall sweeps...get caught in the hallway after the doors close, go to detention. Even if the teacher made you late. WTF?!
It's been over 4 years and I still hate all of that mess.

I'm a high school senior at the time. I graduate this coming May. But to answer the question: What I HATE about high school and what's damaged me most are the fact that they have certain classes that you HAVE to take in order to graduate. I'd have been MUUUCCCCHHH better off if school curriculum could be suited to your abilities and career field. WHEN am I EVER going to need to know polynomials and graphs when I'm in a recording studio creating music?? NEVER! Standard generic curriculum=BAD!

I graduated high school in 2010, and I miss high school, lookin back now lol, I miss all my friends, I miss all the fun we had, I miss goin to the games, and also only the cool teachers I miss lol, and that's about it lol...when I was a freshman ('06-'07) year in high school, I really didn't care too much for school at the time, all I did was just have fun, hang with my friends, I guess just be wild lol, I was a little immature bad boy my freshman year.

Oh god, last time I got in trouble with a sub because I asked to use the lady's room (which I really had to pee) then I came back with lip gloss on and the sub said "I didn't give you permission to go to the bathroom so you can get dolled up, school isn't a beauty pageant!" Then she left a note for my teacher telling her I was misbehaving. Like WTF lip gloss is like lip balm I dont need a mirror to slap it on! I applied it on my way back ;(

I hate the ignorant kids, all the dumb kids who ruin my class experience, the nasty lunch (I pack my own food), and the teachers who always bitch about everything. My substitutes actually aren't bad. My high school was dumb they made it to where they block off this part of the hallway so people can go around which means if your class is right behind that barrier which u can easily walk around they make you walk all the way around the school just to get back to that spot u was just there now your late because they wouldn't let u take 10 steps to get to your class.
