  • @babbfamilyidaho Must take a lot of energy to squelch all that cognitive dissonance. All those guys that Armstrong crushed? Dopers to a man. Of course, the man who has been the single most dominant rider in the era of les dopeurs just happened to have been as clean as a whistle.

    Don't stop believing.

  • looks like lance forgot his injections this morning

  • No helmets required?!

  • Answer one question has Lance ever failed a dope test. No but all of his main rivals either failed tests or paid to have doping investigations dropped.

  • @bampie1 I know you, you're Barry Bonds!

  • @musicNsoccer You may be right but I am giving nothing away. All I will say is that if Armstrong is guilty of doping as most people posting here seem to think, then by the same logic applies to all cyclists who have never tested positve must also be cheating.

  • @musicNsoccer Only if he is from the UK.

  • Comment removed

  • @bampie1 Scratch part of that reply. I glanced over that story on the blood test machine on Wiki and obviously didn't get the gist of it. I still wouldn't be at all surprised if at some point he cheated, though.

  • @Srbabiruso To be honest I would be suprised if he had cheated , only because of the number of times he was tested and was found to be clean. I just find it incredible that if he was doping how did he get away with it. One athlete could not get away with it for that length of time and never get caught in my opinion. Also consider this, he never once failed to give a sample for testing when required unlike other top athletes I could mention.

  • @bampie1 give me a break. Floyd Landis admitted using PEDs and only got "caught" after 2006. He started using once he joined postal and he was tested god so many times as well. It's the same tune with every other rider who has been "caught"; they were users for years and years. There's ways to cheat around ANY test given time after time the same way.

  • @oldtwins How come he was the only rider never to test positive when there were several riders using the same doctor as Lance who tested positive with less testing

  • @bampie1 Luck and well planned? Howcome Lance never crashed with severe injuries to take him out of the Tour when so many other top riders did?

  • @oldtwins I don't understand your point. Are you saying there is something suspicious because he never crashed?

  • @bampie1 Lance was simply meticulous and careful and had a LOT of luck on his side. Same luck with him being able to do all the tours without any significant injury.

  • @oldtwins Luck does not come into it, if you were doping for that length of time with the number of tests he gave you will get caught. He didn't, no case to answer.

  • @bampie1 He did dope, he just paid off the dope controls, reason being that if lance got caught then the tour would lose all credibility and many people would stop watching and visiting it ,meaning the organisers make less money, dont you see LANCE IS THE TOUR and the organisers want everyone to believe his "incredible performance" so they can generate giant profits. Remember Lance had cancer and for him to win 7 tours generates alot of interest and this helps the tours publicity hes a cheat

  • @GiantDefy954 Hahahahaha youre such a fucking loser arguing with people on here trying to convince them Lance doped. Hahahaha. For what? It will make your life better? Youre best friends with Jan Ullrich or Joseba Beloki? Hahaha youre fucking pathetic bro.

  • @wwtdd1 you call me pathetic "Youre best friends with Jan Ullrich or Joseba Beloki?" HAHA whatever you say BRO... at least im putting a valid point across whereas you read through old comments to insult anyone who doesnt have their head up lances ass

  • @GiantDefy954 Valid points?? Hahahahahahhaah. Youre such a douche hahahahaha. I hope your mom and dad are dead hahahaha.

  • @wwtdd1 Yeah Lance didn't dope!! he could barely finish a tour the years before he got cancer and nearly all the top contenders during Lance's reign either got caught doping or admitted to doping. And yet we are still to believe Lance rode clean. When are you guys going to wake up?

  • @dachicagoan You clearly don't understand cycling, no Lance didn't go the long haul in the tour before, he was a younger rider, it's a tough event and it takes mental maturity. The tour isn't everything though, Lance has always been a huge talent, he was one of the youngest world champions ever in 1993 he was a world contender in triathlons at 15, he won some of the biggest races in the world as well as several tour stages. It's not surprising given the situation. He wouldn't win 7 by doping.

  • @wwtdd1 Its funny how you dont have an argument and all you can do is insult me. When you have something related with the video to say then i'll listen but im sure you have a really clever comment to come up with

  • @bampie1 He also had 6 positive urine samples in 1999, so, yes he did cheat, sorry to ruin the fairytale but its not fair that clean riders have their careers ruined by blatant cheats like Lance Armstrong. If he was really innocent then he wouldnt bother responding to the "cynics", all it shows is hes scared because hes guilty and hes trying to cover himself

  • Who gives a fuck if they do EPO You still have to work your ass off and plus they take such a small amount for it not to be detected there are no short cuts if everyone is doing it

  • @cooldogcool51 EPO can improve you performance by 30%.

  • courage is the codeword for dope

  • @teokiatuan2 and guess the code word for Ass Prong or Arm Prong or Pharm Wrong or Dope Strong! Yes, you got it as most of us do except for the deniers with their inability to accept that they've been had, victims of a cruel hoax and lying cheater.

  • NEED MORE EPO.

  • Hi "U368"!!! if you're gonna troll Lance, I'm gonna troll you!! (douche) ATTENTION EVERYONE!!!!!!!! I HAVE GOOD REASON TO BELIEVE THAT "U368" IS ACTUALLY FLOYD LANDIS. DON'T ASK FOR MY SOURCES JUST TAKE IT ON FAITH. TRUST ME. IT'S FLOYD JUST TRYING TO MAKE LANCE LOOK BAD BECAUSE HE FEELS LIKE A SHIT FOR WHAT HE DID. GIVE UP FLOYD, NOBODY LOVES YOU ANYMORE :(

  • @traviswilliams no fool, I am Pretty Boy Floyd! And who are you? Mr Ass Prong himself?

  • "U, 3, 6, 8 Who do we all fucking hate? this dumbass oh oh, this dumbass oh, oh!"

  • What on Earth does "He forgot to eat" mean? That like saying someone passed out because they forgot to breathe. Hahahahaha actually giggling here, keep them coming. Maybe he just genuinely bonked, ever think of that?

  • @eXPerienceyeah your mom genuinely bonks.

  • He bonked because he forgot to eat that day not because of epo...

it was one of the worst days in his carrer

  • @DiegoTelmo Yes If Lance had forgotten his usual EPO or blood transfusion, he would not have been able to pass mountains.

So he had enough EPO but food was missing.

  • Ullrich beats armstrong.

  • He probably forgot his EPO that day

  • a little shit stirrer, better to be a big one, ay you tell 'em, you topped the dopium seven chimes. Devil never get you.

  • That is inacuarate - he has tested positive in the past!! Pays to have a personal physician on staff to side in the microdosing!!!

  • That's right man ooooldmaaan

  • @seanreid1970 dead on, that's really the only reason people hate lance, because he's the "alleged" one and never the "proven guilty" one. He's a great guy though, a real hero to most including myself.

  • So, seanreid can you tell me exactly when Marco Pantani failed a drug test and what substance he tested positive for?

  • Not enough EPO or fresh blood that day?

  • He didn't bonk, he didn't stop pedalling.

  • @eXPerienceyeah, Exactly.

  • you know it doesn't even matter if he cheated or not. The good thing is the sport is getting clean. Old generation out, new generation in

Fuck U Lance!

  • @seanreid1970 Uhm, Armstrong's 1999 tests were retested recently and contained EPO.

  • haha, he said chink...

  • @seanreid1970 Well it doesn't make him any less a cheater. Everybody was cheating. The sport was/is diseased. What amazes me is that some people are able to convince themselves that Lance was totally clean the entire time he was dominating the best cyclists in the world who happened to be sticking a needles in their asses every 5 minutes. If there was no such thing as doping then Lance's achievements would be incredible. But in light of all the revelations, it downright impossible.

  • pig

  • Vaya,le dieron el bote de agua que tenia solo agua...

  • Lance is the Legend of this sport; you can say anything but for me he is the gratest cyclist of TDF.

  • @seanreid1970 Very childish reaction from a 'lawyer' I must say! Reading your comment I would say that you have lowered the level of intelligence I expected to be required for your profession................................Oh lord boys, standards are certainly slipping ;-(

  • Even Lance agreed it was bad for Carmichael!

BTW we will see if Lance sues Floyd.

If he does, Ashenden and co would come to testimony on Lance doping and about the 6 EPO samples of Lance and the hidden positive test by UCI that Lance got in 2002. Maybe US Justice would resquest those samples to French for an other retesting!

Interresting days to come, sure you would enjoy them.

  • @seanreid1970 But do you know that Carmichael is the guy who doped the junior US team, he was sued by Stoke and has to settle.

I let the other people to make their mind with your blinded position.

Do you forget how Lance supported Landis insisting on how unfair was the lab and so? Your heroe has no credibility, he lied many times : L'Equipe is not a tabloid, he said he had not TUE, he said there were no doping in cycling, just a few bad apples,... Come on you are a liar too,

  • @seanreid1970 What about Landis' A-Bomb on doping of US Postal team?

We will be pleased by your reaction.

  • To test clean never proved he didn't dope. Marion Jones while doped with EPO beated 2 more time testings than Lance.

Are you missing that EPO were found in 6 Lance's 1999 samples by retrotesting with all 1999 TDF samples? WADA validated it but UCI refused to investigate the case, they have no interest to prove that cycling was still full of doper after Festina & they had done few to change it. Fisrt time Lance was "called" a doper was by American reporters in Tarbes TDF 1999

  • @seanreid1970 Do you believe that all riders were cheating like Lance? Do you believe that all riders have access to the best doping doctor who is Ferrari?

Do you believe that everyone has a body that reacts the same to drugs or medicine?

It's stupid to speak of equal level with doping.

And what about to cheat the spectators who want to see sport and not wrestling!

  • wouldnt really call it a bonk, still managed to stay near the front and he was well in front overall anyway, dont think he would have been that concerned probably brushed it off as one of those days.

  • my fault guys.. sorry

  • Quelle ascension !

  • we all need are lanceness

  • The reality is that every single rider Phil Ligett mentions in that video has been busted for doping since. Except Lance. Lance's biggest sponsor is bristol myer squibb... :)

Lance is a legend either way. I rode with him last year and he is a down to earth dude that likes riding his bike.

  • It's amazing that Armstrong didn't lose more time than 1 min 30, this is a testament to Lance's courage and spirit and Johan Bruyneel's tactical pacing. I can see why Bruyneel is so strongly against a radio ban.

  • "Everyone dopes." "Lance popped six times". "He's never tested positive". Blah, blah, blah. None of you know anything about world-class athletics, dope, EPO, or Lance Armstrong. Shut up. Get a life.

  • i think you have to give him the benefit of the doubt.. no tests have been conclusive, and it is very possible that the docs that "found" what they wanted because they put it there.. they didnt find anything in the first tests, why would it be there the second time? just dumb.

  • all pro cyclist dope. get fukin over it. i dont give a fuk. i like cycling regardless

  • @efetuspook thats exactly how i feel. its people always accusing others of taking drugs that makes cycling look bad...deal with it! im so sick of seeing nothing but accusations and stupid false statistics on these youtube vids...

  • By the way, Marco Pantani (RIP) died of a cocaine overdose and I thought he was one of the sport's great characters and could climb a hill like a mountain goat.

  • Oh look hghepo, Armstrong actually bonked! What do you say to that? That he forgot his wee jab that morning or something inane like that??? It doesnt matter how much you slag him off, Lance's supporters will always love him

  • @Paxrep

    damn straight

  • @btinder711

    Thank you! : )

  • pantani jan and lance the hay day of cycling

  • I think you guys are missing the most important part of this video.

    1:20

  • @pilaratwork whats that he does at 1:20?

  • @pilaratwork what did i miss? he does something with his left hand/leg or is it a prob with the bike?

  • @hghepo, you are a moron. Lance is simply the best cyclist of our generation. If you would rather chock his success up to doping, more power to you, ignorance is bliss.

  • ok..i have heard this story....and lets just say your right...armstrong did buy the 99 tour...but do you really think he could get the uci and all the other people over looking the works of the tour to turn a blind eye for the next six years..not possible.......i cant buy it!

  • heres what i believe..if you look hard enough....and ask enough people who have a axe to grind with someone....you can always make someone look guilty.....and tell us all where we find the (fact)....that armstrong gave 500.000 to the uci..?

  • When the UCI account, Sylvia Schenck, confirms it, verbruggen, UCI president too and Armstrong has to confirm it on SCA trial, even if he had some "memory problem" about the amount, that is not a myth.

That exemple was used to support a presentation about corruption in sport at "Play the Game" international conference. Check their website!

  • listen dickskin...your just a little man with a axe to grind...a conspiracy nut....do you really think that the heads of the uci could or would let him dope to save the sport.?...and tell me how did he win the next 6 tours..did they let him win those too?......bet you think bush caused 911....the goverments hiding aliens....and elvis is still alive!!

  • hahahahahah....

  • haha... have you read one of the 8 different books on Lance's doping?

Could you name a country where their authors have been sued and punished for slandering?

What about the legal testimonies of 6 different people very much less rich than Armstrong? Do you believe that they were lying under oath and risking to go to jail and losing all their money?

  • @hghepo

Name for me one official drug control he failed. Just one.

If you can't, shut the f*ck up.

  • Would you explain us why dit the head of UCI accept a $500.000 donation of Armstrong in 1999 after having a controversial failed doped test ?

Why did we get that information in 2004?

Is there a risk of corruption? How could UCI be impartial in their testing with the secret acceptation of a such amount of money?

  • you must be french...they just cant stand that lance beats them at their own race...so they make shit up ...hear say...stories not based in fact.....lance was tested 54 times last year....not one positive test.....LANCE RULES...GET OVER IT!!

  • You must be Lance's chamois sniffer without cycling past.

Lance doping problem began before he won his first TDF. His doping was pointed by all reporters including US journalists. Check Franck Andreu 1999 diary.

Even the french liked the American winner Greg Lemond who had beaten their 2 heroes Hinault and Fignon.

Lance never tested positive because UCI needed a savior after Festina scandal. What a fairy tales a cancer survivor winning TDF... enough to clear a positive test !

  • @hghepo you are a complete f'in idiot who knows nothing. Lance gets tested 40+ times per year and has never tested positive. Ever. So shut up and keep your made up fantasies to yourself.

  • The idiot says to you that Lance was tested around 40 times last year, but was only tested 5 to 12 times for all his other riding years. You just have to go on UCI website to check it, that should be doable for an intelligent person like you.

Marion Jones was tested 160 times while EPO doping, never tested positive. What should you conclude of that?

Have you read Ashenden's interview on velocitynation website about the 6 EPO samples of Lance?

  • @hghepo t'es trop débile... un triso à piquer !

  • assholes who know shit about cycling...armstrong rides clean asshole!!!

  • Impossible to believe, he has so many drug affairs, he has be linked with Ferrari, it's like working with Al Capone, 6 legal testimonies, 6 EPO samples , 1 corticoïd, hematocrit at 48% for a man with a 41% natual values, extremely dubious blood values on last TDF, 2 actovegin scandal, no human EPO in his 2000 TDF samples, his multiple lies about reality of doping in cycling, his performance before Ferrari years, the threat against Bassons, Simeoni, reporters,...

  • 2004 was actually one of his worse year.

  • You forget 1993 94 95 and 96 when he was not able to finish any mountain stage of TDF... but of course that was before Ferrari gave him EPO.

  • @hghepo

What a troll. Riders evolve, they don't get in TDF winning condition the day they start racing. Armstrong didn't reach his peak until he was in his late-20s. Thats the case with most endurance athletes.

You have zero evidence to support your claim that he doped.

    Your allegations aren't worth sh*t.

  • You have zero evidence of Lance change... if you were knowing pro cycling, every pro who goes within a team is evaluated, and Lance were. He had never be detected as a stage racer and climber, limited by his recovering capacity and his climbing.

Hopefully EPO helped him to convert his weakness, like average hematocrit allowing to boost it by 15% and more, when others, like Cugeno could just have a 5% gain.

  • @hghepo - you seem to forget that Lance was a World Champion at 21 - long before he ever did the Tour.

  • What is your point? That Lance were strong in 1993 and then he became weaker because he was unable to win a second WC title?

He won the WC because no one wanted to lead the chase.

Have you read the Scientific American of June 96 page 47-49 : LA's lactate threshold was at a dismal 75% : totally inadequate for a TdF winner wannabe.

Thanks to EPO and blood doping!

  • What is YOUR point? What is the point of yourself trawling through videos of someone you hate just so you can bitch and write shite about him? NOBODY GIVES A FUCK!! But how do YOU explain why he bonked that day?? Whats your answer? The drugs dont work????

  • You seems to give a fuck to my statements, so probably others.

Lance bonked because he could have not eough feeding, because of illness, because of mistake in his doping regim (like Zulle, Mancebo, Heras or Landis ).

As Vayer wrote sometimes even with doping something can go wrong.

  • Preach to somebody who cares. You must have a miserable life!

  • That is the typical answer of people having no argument. The truth hurts.

  • Have you seen that 1993 world championship?

Could we conclude about that race that Lance was the strongest of the field that day? NO.

You just have to look at the 2 last lap to see that Armstrong won tactically and more likely because it was very slippery with rain.

Meanwhile a one day race requires different skills than a long stage races like TDF.

And before working with Ferrari, Armstrong didn't have those skills: good recovering, climbing capacities for more than a single col...

  • 1:21 hahahah

  • The owner of this clinic, a renowned haematologist, called Walter Viru, who is one of the doctors for Kelme, [in order] to alert them the day before the UCI vampires were coming to take the samples from the cyclists. And he did the same thing with Del Moral, the doctor for the US Postal team and then Discovery, [who is] a good friend of his.

Manzano was asked if he was certain about the statements he was making. He affirmed he was, elaborating further.

  • That is not a bonk, he just got dropped by a couple of stronger riders on the day.

  • Sure! And you are a rider with??!!!?? How could you possibly make a statement like this? It doesn't evenmake sense. Only one of the passing riders or Lance could know for fact and make such comment...

  • Its not a BONK, idiot. Hes still managing to ride well. Virenque & Ullrich were just a little more stronger. Lance goes over the top strong Dummy, with the trailing bunch, do you ride cos I guess you never have felt what a true bonk feels like?.

  • You fucken keyboard ninja! The only thing I would be riding if you were standing in front of me would be your mom, you son of a bitch! Did u see anywhere in that msg me calling u with names, u human garbage. Now you got your reply: THE ONE YOU DESERVE AND UNDERSTAND. Now go fuck yourself, piece of shit! Bark all you want I won't give a fuck what u say from this point on. Fucken asshole!

  • lol... All I'm saying is; You don't know what a bonk is... Take a chill, dummy...

  • Comment removed

  • you tested positive for epo? interesting.

  • hghepo, I clearly remember when you tested positive for epo, I just cant prove it.

  • Not enough EPO?

  • No, Not after being tested thousands of times & coming up negative everytime.

  • Do you have a problem with number?

    From UCI website:

    * 1999 : 15 contrôles (1 positif corticoïdes)

    * 2000 : 12 contrôles

    * 2001 : 10 contrôles , dont 5 test EPO

    * 2002 : 9 contrôles incluant la recherche d'HES, dont 8 avec détection de l'EPO

    * 2003 : 9 contrôles incluant la recherche d'HES, dont 6 test EPO

    * 2004 : 8 contrôles recherche d'HES, dont 7 avec test EPO . 1 contrôle sanguin

    Retrotesting of 1999 samples : 6 had rEPO !

  • Comment removed

  • You are a true fan of Lance, lying like him. Check your facts... Lance was 2 times less tested than Marion Jones, 160 tests, not positive despite doping all his career with EPO and other drugs, see report of her trial.

EPO was found in 6 + 2 by retrotesting of his 1999 samples.

Extremely dubious blood values in 2009... and impossible hematocrit level from 1999 to 2005 witout doping.

  • lance bonking or the rest of the riders actually climbimbing?

  • Ffs, I cant even ride as fast as that on the flat!

  • Heras, you stupid fuck!

  • bonk? ha! I wish i could ride that fast uphill after I bonk.

  • He's a little shit starter...

    ROFL

  • Wasnt this the stage that we later found out that Lance's brake was rubbing?

  • great post :) lol

  • yes

  • ullrich never tested positive, and the puerto stuff was somewhat sketchy, pantani also not exactly the 100% crystal clear

  • He grew facial hair? You got him. It's the smoking gun.

    He's clean. Get over it.

  • i have to recognize that i dont like armstrong but being third in the last tour is a very great result

  • Lance is a star! To be ready to race and win seven years in a row is fantastic! Then to take 3 1/2 years off, come back and beat all of last years top guys is the real deal! Lance said those guys last year were sad...and he proved it this year!

  • Armstrong is and will always be the man...let's see the haters ride at his level when they're 37.

  • Why should he retire? He has loads left? He was 3. ?

    Doesnt really support your statement?

  • do you realize how amazing that is at his age after not riding for 3 years.

  • yeah anyone who doesnt atleast come in 2nd place should probably quit forever...

then we could call it, the tour de shleckador

  • Be a pretty small race next year if everyone took your advice.

  • dude ,, this sport is hardcore,,,,

  • the guy with the green afro scared me.

  • is this the day before Mt.Ventoux ?

  • "Pantani is a little shit-starter" Dang!

  • was...

  • fools who watched this and knew nothing about cycling would say this happened cos he was unfit or something but its clear that he has obviously not eaten or hydrated correctly on this day, given the massive amount of carbs cyclists need.

  • bullshit.

LA himself admitted in his book "Every second counts" that he bonked and after the stage he excused himself in front of his team. "I could have lost the Tour de France today" he admitted

  • Yeah, not a true bonk. Always fun to watch a winner slip though!

  • call this a boink?? a true boink and you cant even turn the pedals over

  • he still won the tour

  • what means bonks? i didnt find this word in my dictionary. thanks

  • when you run out of energy, you just can't turn the pedals anymore

  • thanks mharky84. here in Italy we say COTTA. enjoy our giro d'italia, starting next saturday

  • Loved your Giro, I had Menchov to win from the start, and what a finish! I hope the tour can live up to it.

  • le armstrong express

  • fringale

  • ullrich's bike change?

  • he forgot to eat. this was on the Joux-plame. this was epic!

  • and you forgot to think before you say something, give me some prove when you say something about him.. but you are to stupid to do that..

  • i love how your so confident hes doped.

  • the flying texan...jejeje...thats a good one

  • it s probaly in the Joux Plane , one of most diffcult

  • Awesome footage!

It just gets me excited ad in the mood for racing and for trainning harder.

Though I need to rest hard too.

    :P

  • bad day...lol

    in the end of
