What amazes me is that some people are able to convince themselves that Lance was totally clean the entire time he was dominating the best cyclists in the world who happened to be sticking a needles in their asses every 5 minutes. If there was no such thing as doping then Lance's achievements would be incredible. But in light of all the revelations, it downright impossible.

To test clean never proved he didn't dope. Marion Jones while doped with EPO beated 2 more time testings than Lance.
Are you missing that EPO were found in 6 Lance's 1999 samples by retrotesting with all 1999 TDF samples? WADA validated it but UCI refused to investigate the case, they have no interest to prove that cycling was still full of doper after Festina & they had done few to change it. Fisrt time Lance was "called" a doper was by American reporters in Tarbes TDF 1999

It's amazing that Armstrong didn't lose more time than 1 min 30, this is a testament to Lance's courage and spirit and Johan Bruyneel's tactical pacing. I can see why Bruyneel is so strongly against a radio ban.

When the UCI account, Sylvia Schenck, confirms it, verbruggen, UCI president too and Armstrong has to confirm it on SCA trial, even if he had some "memory problem" about the amount, that is not a myth.
That exemple was used to support a presentation about corruption in sport at "Play the Game" international conference. Check their website!

Lance doping problem began before he won his first TDF. His doping was pointed by all reporters including US journalists. Check Franck Andreu 1999 diary.
Even the french liked the American winner Greg Lemond who had beaten their 2 heroes Hinault and Fignon.
Lance never tested positive because UCI needed a savior after Festina scandal. What a fairy tales a cancer survivor winning TDF... enough to clear a positive test !

The idiot says to you that Lance was tested around 40 times last year, but was only tested 5 to 12 times for all his other riding years. You just have to go on UCI website to check it, that should be doable for an intelligent person like you.
Marion Jones was tested 160 times while EPO doping, never tested positive. What should you conclude of that?

You have zero evidence of Lance change... if you were knowing pro cycling, every pro who goes within a team is evaluated, and Lance were. He had never be detected as a stage racer and climber, limited by his recovering capacity and his climbing.
Hopefully EPO helped him to convert his weakness, like average hematocrit allowing to boost it by 15% and more, when others, like Cugeno could just have a 5% gain.

Could we conclude about that race that Lance was the strongest of the field that day? NO.
You just have to look at the 2 last lap to see that Armstrong won tactically and more likely because it was very slippery with rain.
Meanwhile a one day race requires different skills than a long stage races like TDF.
And before working with Ferrari, Armstrong didn't have those skills: good recovering, climbing capacities for more than a single col...
