Blue Mouse Voiceover Microphone

I feel like I need to make a point here. While this mic may sound good for voice overs it's not what it's function is and it would be a waste of money to use this for voice overs. This is a STUDIO condenser mic, this is designed for completely different applications and you would be doing yourself a favor not to buy this mic for the sole purpose of voice over work.

I'm just venturing into the VO realm and am totally confused with all the mic options.

Really, I'm hesitatant to pull the trigger on anything, be it software, etc.

While this mic does work wonderfully on broadcast, its actual design intent was for bass percussion and bass instruments, which accounts for its awesome low end. I've often seen this mic planted in front of kick drums. Also, in addition to the transformer and transformer-less models, there is a white omnidirectional mouse.
