When i was nine, my Daddy died. He was the greatest man I've yet met, even now, ten years on.

subsiquently, my teen years were hectic and traumatic, I did a whole host of things i'm certainly not proud of, but i just hope, with my whole heart that he can forgive me, is proud of me for turning things around,

and most importantly, still loves me, even if just half as much as i love him.

Newton faulkner has the same birthday as me :D....This song means a lot to me as the lyrics say what I think when i think of all the people in my family that have died. My gran died 2 years ago, my other gran 10 years ago, my uncle 1and a half years ago, my other unlce 3 months ago and his girfriend this week. Great song, great artist, and RIP to whoever this was written about and all the people in your comments
