umm.. btw that booklet with the snake on it, it is a catalog, it has all the exo-terra products in it, and i just got the same kit and i am getting a crestie in about 2 weeks, will this cage last them their whole life?

@flyleafrules93 - Lots of people have different Ideas of what sizes of cages the cresties need. I am currently keeping mine in a 10 gallon and I have a larger exo-terra cage than this for him, but he seems to like the smaller one better. but I know somthing everyone can agree on and that is dont go smaller than a 10 gallon. So the cage you currently have will be enough for the ret of your geckos life, but you can always go bigger to if you wish.

That is quite a lovely setup, I love exo-terras; however, I would suggest downgrading for now. I keep my baby that big in a med - large kritter keeper. It's easier to keep track of their feeding and such. I've found that my gecko at that size seemed to be eating less in his larger tank. Just a suggestion, though.

i have the same exo terra (not the kit, just the tank)... i ripped out the background cause crickets and my cresteds would get behind it... the kit looks good when it's set up

I took some tape and index cards and cut them to fit in the opening on the background. Now I do not have to deal with crickets getting away and dying back there. (smelly)
