Use your wife's scissors, the ones she uses for sewing,USA,Says ,SINGER.She will understand, with a smile, and she will iron it all out, with a tire iron.
I couldn't find video three so I improvised. The only thing I need help with what was done with the wire wing supports. Are they just hot glued in as well as are any of them connected? Open to suggestions for this part of the build.
xjet, could you post a complete part list for an electric one? One of my relatives is right now in the U.S.A and is coming back in a couple of weeks, so i want to order online make him bring me the parts to my country ( where is more difficult o find). Thanks a lot
@daristizs It'll have to wait until I've tried the motors I have here to establish what is the best option. It's 4 degrees right now with a misty rain and the same is forecast for tomorrow but hopefully the weather will clear on Monday.
What is the max size of the plane I can do with the same engine and same style plane just bigger to handle more weight because I can't afford all the servos but I have some others but they are much bigger and heavier and I will need more lift
HAHAHAAHA I have been watching for this vid only what?, 3 months in the making M8 good job.... i am thinking about joining you on the island under the island down under and was wondering what should a settler coming to NZ be bringing? i have read what your goverment says i should have; but i figured i would ask a man who lives there. if you were coming from america what is needed to support life down there?
@seansmp420 A 120-240volt power adapter would be a good place to start, we run a 240 volt mains power system over here, which could 'slightly' ruin all your chargers etc if not handled correctly. Secondly, a laid back and not too stressed approach to life will help you go a long way if you decide to go anywhere other than Auckland! - Thirdly, a love and in depth knowledge of Rugby will allow you to fit into most levels of society ;)
you have sparked my imagination. i will have plenty of this material to make some planes come election season lol. they litter every roadside with obummer signs and whatever nincompoop the republicans get to run. On that note Ron Paul 2012
@ASSMYLICK Hey, don't let these handsome young looks fool you :-) So long as the weather's not snow, rain or gale-force winds, the SWMAC will be operating as usual.
coreflute, fluteboard, coroplast... it all depends on the manucacture... basically it's cardboard made of high density plastic (a lot of polotical campaign signs are made of it).... brb i found a source of free material
@pimpflea To get strength into a larger wing you need to make an airfoil section but go do a google and YouTube search for SPAD RC planes and you'll see how well they can be made to fly, even in larger sizes.
will it fly if you use a metric rule? not many things measured in inches these days eh Deb??. and I like the red its hides the blood. Only prob I see is the tower is red and white it may disappear when it hits.
About bloody time! Lol, love your vids, been waiting a while on this! Must be winter there or something..... Looking forward to the plans. Keep up the great work.
need a 3rd video!!!.

Great Video! Do you think coreflute would be too heavy to try and build a average to small sized trainer with, or would it need a aerofoil wing?
pimpflea 6 months ago
@pimpflea To get strength into a larger wing you need to make an airfoil section but go do a google and YouTube search for SPAD RC planes and you'll see how well they can be made to fly, even in larger sizes.
