  • Calutrons were at Y-12, not K-25.

  • When I worked there '03 - '08, that "convertor" in the picture was classified and when I left i was told to never talk about those "convertors" !!! Go figure !!! So much for national security!!

  • The electromagnetic separation was done using the Calutron, wasn't it?

    Does any of this K-25 plant still remain standing and is it possible to see it?

  • @deedubya286 Portions of K-25 look the same as in the 1940's. Some areas are open to the public.
