He actually never performed this opera live...only in studio recordings...I sure would have loved to hear it though...doesn't really matter, he still sang the poop out of it...even if it was over the course of a week! Check out the Joan Sutherland, Pavarotti Turandot with Zubin Mehta conducting!

Well...Pav was very comfortable with most of the lyric/dramatic tenor rep...most of the extremes demanded a range around c6...however he did take a high d6 occasionally and was even known to fake/falsetto a high f6...hope this helps....obviously anything below a high c was easy for him...
