I respectfully disagree that the HOF means nothing. True credit should be given where credit is truely due and that is universal. The HOF probably means different things to different artists and fans. But I think the purpose of the HOF is to distinguish musical performers from musical legends and that's important enough...

Luther is so good, a great addition to the band. I love the Crowes. Hoping to catch NM Allstars on their tour this year, not sure if it stops up this way in Ohio or not.

Definitely respect though to Marc Ford and Audley Freed for their talents and contributions to the Black Crowes. They've had some good ones over the years.

ford and luther are different player. I don't like how Luther plays with a rounded sound, he is a more slippery hillbilly player--he takes chances and lands right. Ford however, has more dynamic and had a better bridge p.u sound. Also he is more of a rock player steeped in the Kings/clapton/Green/Bloomfield vein. He has an edge when it comes to rock. Luther is also an amazing player . So is Audley and Paul Stacey
