The GTR isn't just faster in a straight line - it's faster full stop. It will also require FAR,FAR less trips to the garage for repair in it's lifetime. Also note the Scooby was modded to the max, the skyline was "Lightly" modded - The skyline driver wasn't event trying.

To claify, if 2 turbos flow boost into one manifold, they MUST be running the same boost and be the same size otherwise when the smaller turbo kicks in it would push its boost out the other (bigger) turbo because it (the bigger turbo) wouldnt be making boost. Sequential turbos have one turbo flow into the inlet of the other turbo. This is why the rb26dett has 1 inlet for each turbo. Sequential turbos have one inlet for both turbos.

No max boost doesnt kick in at diff times or tpm's (well technically they may be slightly diff but not on purpose). They are exactly the same sized turbo's being fed the same amount of exhaust meaning they reach max boost at same time.
And you're wrong. As others have mentioned, they are simply 2 same sized turbos bolted to a single ordinary looking manifold, and they spool up with half the exhaust gas each. they run as an identical pair, spooling up at the SAME time. they are NOT like the supra's sequential set up.
lol GTR's arent sequential, turbos, theyre twin...meaning they both start at stop working at the saaaame rpm. The GTR also runs 1 bar standard not 7lb..
also that wrx still running top mount cooler at 270kw? i dont think so..
that was a pretty quick subi for only 270 (im assuming WHP) but thats only around 330BHP so if hes running an aftermarket TMIC, he should be ok, and you have less intercooler piping, so it can help eliminate some of the lag needed to get back the acceleration after braking for a corner. but you are right, the gtr has TWIN turbos, NOT running SEQUENTIAL twins, like some of the old subi legacys, which is what the other guy was talking about and is wrong.
hes only running 18psi in an ej20 with the stock turbo, so a TMIC should do just fine. he definately is pushing that turbo to its max though. should go a little larger, maybe a big 16G or GT3071r for quicker spool.

No max boost doesnt kick in at diff times or tpm's (well technically they may be slightly diff but not on purpose). They are exactly the same sized turbo's being fed the same amount of exhaust meaning they reach max boost at same time.

And you're wrong. As others have mentioned, they are simply 2 same sized turbos bolted to a single ordinary looking manifold, and they spool up with half the exhaust gas each. they run as an identical pair, spooling up at the SAME time. they are NOT like the supra's sequential set up.

lol GTR's arent sequential, turbos, theyre twin...meaning they both start at stop working at the saaaame rpm. The GTR also runs 1 bar standard not 7lb..
also that wrx still running top mount cooler at 270kw? i dont think so..

that was a pretty quick subi for only 270 (im assuming WHP) but thats only around 330BHP so if hes running an aftermarket TMIC, he should be ok, and you have less intercooler piping, so it can help eliminate some of the lag needed to get back the acceleration after braking for a corner. but you are right, the gtr has TWIN turbos, NOT running SEQUENTIAL twins, like some of the old subi legacys, which is what the other guy was talking about and is wrong.

hes only running 18psi in an ej20 with the stock turbo, so a TMIC should do just fine. he definately is pushing that turbo to its max though. should go a little larger, maybe a big 16G or GT3071r for quicker spool.
