  • hahahah its really good, i liked it. I absolutley loved the book and it has opened my eyes alot into these spiritual wars that happen all the time, while we live...

  • I understand where you are logistically and financally in this video, so I won't judge that there isn't groundbreaking FX, but it would've been nice if you had made the angels look cooler than the demons. The demons looked liked Ninjas and the angels looked sissys. (Just by what they were wearing, so actors, don't take it personally)

  • DUMB ASS THIS SUCKS

  • @Scifijaden very mature comment. if you cant tell the comments on this video thus far have been intellectual. go get educated.

  • not bad. some scenes are funny. It seems many kids are creating videos based on this book for a school assignment. Check Krooblo and his interpretation of it.

  • Ahh les salio medio feo la verdad... hare uno haber que les parece asi algun dia nos unimos y hacemos algo super. Jamas comento en ingles por cierto

  • Astal combat from a christian perspective.

look it up there is little information about the truth of the spiritual warfare that goes on. I study demons, devils, and angels and know alot of the subject. Everything think roots back to the spiritual realm or astral plane.

  • @WhyNotZach well I don't want to question your credentials but just stating that you "know alot about the subject" doesn't neccesarily mean you do. As far as the lack of information that is unfortunatley incorrect. there is a growing amout of evidence for the results spiritual warfare acted out in our physical world. I'll give you some authers to check out after I do a little digging.

  • HA

    HA

    NNiiiicceE!!!

  • What is the music from?

  • american music co

  • wait! the demons are red, and have sulfur breath. besides, the angels and demons have wings in the book! where are those special effects?

  • well to be honest, I made this trailer in my after affects class. I haden't learned how to do alot of complicated affects. but fear not. I plan on making the film versions of the demons and angels much different.

  • @TWICEfan3125 the demons are black (No I'm not racist and neither is the book, black as in burned) in the book. But yeah, they do have sulfur breath.

  • @manxhedghog ok thank you for clarification.

  • I would love it if they had the right people to portray many of Peretti's stories. I never went to see "House" but I'd definitely see "Monster", "The Oath", and the "Darkness" books he's written. The ultimate battles for our hearts are fought daily! I believe it and reading the "Darkness" books is both humbling and amazing when you realize there's more than meets the eye when it comes to the heart.

  • Hey, thanks for the great comment! I hope to begin drafting a screenplay for the film by the end of this year. I'll be keeping people updated. If your interested in being involved send me a message and we'll swap information.

  • I'll certainly consider it. I'll subscribe to you so I can get firsthand information on what's happening with Project Peretti.

  • It was a good book. I disagree with the idea that driving force behind the story is fictional. The existance of Angels and demons, and the conflict between the two forces are the main idea behind the story. I believe that there is spiritual warfare being fought behind the scenes of my everyday life. I've experienced things, and heard stories from trustworthy people that make it impossible for me to believe angels and demons don't exist.

  • Thanks for the comment. I do agree that there is real conflict betwean good and evil in the spiritual world and that battle was the inspiration for Peretti but the book itself is very fictional, with the introduction of angels with names and different "ranks" of demons. I also loved the book and hope someday to ask Frank in person about the under tones.

  • they should make a film

  • I agree. It would be good if the right people did it.

  • I'm sorry for my language. Speaking from a very personal point of view. I respect these great authors as literary artists. But I do not like the way Christian religion creates these parallels, between the Bible and fiction, to support the claims of the Bible. The Bible is enough to contend with as it is. Christianity in its modern form destroys as many good minds as the souls it "saves".

  • every writer writes from his or own world view. Christians love the because we see it as the word of our God to his followers.I there are things in the bible that are hard to bieleve but that doesn't mean that because there are things that are difficult to explane (or as you put it "is enough to contend with") doesn,t make it invalid as a sorce of inspiration. anyone who writes something will leave a little of themselves and what they believe behind in each book thats what makes reading so fun!

  • "every writer writes from his or own world view."

I know you won't accept your own statement entirely if i said this was true too for the people who contributed to the Bible. You will say they were inspired by God, so it's not the same.

It's not right for me to presume, but...

  • actually I stand by my statement. let me point out that in the gospels mathew mark luke and john the gospel story varys slightly. now I do not see this as a contridiction but as proof that each of these four different disciples saw things differently. you are right though when you say it's not the same. the bible is not ment as a fictional piece or a biography or even a memoiurs <sp? it is bieleved by Christians that God inspired the... co-authers if you will, to wright what they wrote.

  • There is no reason to believe this, other than this is the notion that has been passed through generations. Where exactly is the reason to believe that those words are words of inspiration from God? Where has the notion come from? It has been claimed, and nothing more. God has not made such a thing specific to a reasonable, decent man. When you realise this, you realise believing the good and logical parts of the bible are just as hard as having faith in the not so good, illogical parts.

  • Also I would like to say that modern Christianity is not what ruins the minds of many modern Christians. it is the dumbing down and introduction of nonChristian teaching by some pastors that has many modern Christians confused but not ruined. There is a large back to basics movent in the church right now and alot of these so called "ruined minds" are shaking off the fog and seeing the truth through the lies.

  • and i have read the book. as a child. and i know how christians blur fiction with their actual world view.

  • I have no doubt you've read this and many other christian fiction books (oh by the I apologize the coment I made you lacking taste)

but I must dissagree. While there are some very foolish christians out there, it is not the norm to confuse fiction like this with the realty as seen by Christians.

  • C.S. Lewis and Tolkien didn't claim that the warfare within their books was a reality. Proponents of spiritual warfare as a reality use this book to that effect, and that is what i am objecting to.

  • ok I can appreciate that and thank you for not swearing this time. um... in reply I would say that while tolkien didn't say there were any overt parralels between middle earth and our world spiritually. but in C.S. the lion the witch and the wordobe Aslan the lion say that he is also a diety (and I believe you won't argue which deity he was hinting at) in our world and that the children had to make a choice to follow him there as well as in Narnia

  • What's the rebellion?

  • The rebelion is the "angels" and how they affect humans... well you kinda have to read the book to understand but hopefully when the real thing is finnished you'll get it.
