What I see here is that the folks who defend the "official" conspiracy theory do that by attacking the man (ad hominem). Those who question it, base their questioning on sound scientific principles. It's really too bad that the average US citizen does not understand 9th grade physics and can't see the evidence of explosive force in the parabolic motion of the debris ejected from the WTC towers as they came down. This is a clear indication of "projectile motion" and of the presence of explosives.

I will point to this, there was hard physical evidence of active nano-thermitic material found in the WTC dust collected minutes after the "implosion". I've worked with nano materials before "aerogel" and can attest that the only way for this material to exist is by being synthesized in a lab

Ok. Let's try this again. If there was hard evidence of thermite the USGS would have found traces of it in the dust. They didn't. How do you explain that? Oh wait, they're in on the cover up too right? How do you know Harrit's & S. Jones samples are genuine or tampered with?

As for wtc7, go read the NIST report that says fires caused the collapse. I choose to believe industry experts with conclusions recognised by 99% of other professionals in their field, over the BS opinions of a few kooks.

As far as I know, the USGS did not look specifically for thermite. The Jones samples have a sound chain of custody.

No steel structured building has ever collapsed due to fire (except the three WTC buildings on 9/11) even after inferno-like conflagration. Your 99% statistic is not correct. The only professionals who back the NIST conclusions are those whose jobs depend on it. As far as "BS" and "kooks," it is the language used by those who try to convince by bullying rather than by reason.

The USGS were no initially looking for thermite because it's not used in controlled demolitions. They have looked for it in the aftermath of the stupid conspiracy theories & found no by products of it's use.

There is no example of a steel building collapsing from fire prior to 9/11. Please give reference to the "plenty of examples" you are referring to. Buildings are fire-proofed to prevent fire from spreading and minimizing damage.

There are now hundreds (100's) or architects and engineers that question the NIST reports.

Thermite is made up of several commonly found substances. Aluminum, sulfur for example (Thermitic material).

However, the by products of thermite use are not so common. (Barium Nitrate for example). These by products were not found in USGS dust samples.

Buildings are fireproofed because ALL steel will buckle & lose strength when heated.

The law of conservation of energy says it's impossible for gravity alone to cause the near free fall collapse of building 7 and the north and south towers. There had to be some other very powerful energy to cause those three buildings to collapse. Also, there's no way that such small fires relative to the massive size of those three buildings could have supplied enough energy to cause near free fall speed collapse.

As former law enforcement official I never understood why so many people are so opposed to a more in depth investigation into 9/11. Why would anyone be against finding out everything we can about the biggest intelligence and military failure in U.S. history that resulted in the thousands of deaths of innocent civilians and two wars? I now realize that many people who oppose a better investigation are afraid of what it would find and they prefer to remain willfully ignorant. They're afraid.

The second is irrelevant because the investigation that the nyccan petition is fighting for will be independently funded and will not affect taxpayers at all. As for your last two, what is the problem with getting experts in certain fields to review things? Sure, if they are a CT then they might have some bias, but these aren't just random CTers. Plus, a new investigation would allow non-biased interpretations of the evidence.

He doesn't really obliterate it though. If he did he would be able to actively disprove everything the commission report said. He never disproves that atta and crew got pilots licences, and did the hijacking. There are a lot of footnotes to that report, take a look. DRG never disproves any of that. He dismisses it out of hand without even a first look but preaches that "it is irrational" to reject his CT out of hand without a second look. that's not brilliant at all.
