  • This looks pretty amazing for what you made it with. Anyone here who says otherwise has no idea about games and thinks only in B&W. For what this was used to make with, this creator did an outstanding job making a classic.

  • @ScyberPsylock That are some fine and nice words there^^ Thank you a lot. I allways appreciate it if someone sees behind the actual work I did and understands what it was all about in the first place. : ) Thank you

  • Game Making Level: ASIAN!

  • now lets see you do it withe rpg maker vx or xp

  • I would recognize that anywhere! You used the textures from Zero Mission! Beautiful!

  • @zero2234geschmack like what????

  • @zero2234geschmack Hello?

    how to do??????

  • @noobglider

Use your imagination and a good tool...the rpg maker is no good tool for a game like this^^

  • This is great man!

    How to do this?

  • is the download link working yet?

  • this is kind of cool but it all seems very corny...

  • If it were anything else, I'd say it looked like crap (which you admitted in a post). The fact that you made this out of RPG Maker 2003 however is astonishing. Nicely done.

  • @ElliotCarver

That about sums it all up! : D It IS crap but I guess in the eyes of someone who is working with RPG Maker 2003 it may be interesting^^

  • @zero2234geschmack

Little known fact, I was actually one of the Beta testers for RM2k3. Man that was a long time ago.

  • @zero2234geschmack I use RMXP. Very nice job by the way ^__^ Can you tell me how this can be done with RMXP ??? I know you probably get this question constantly but It would help me a ton to make my Double Dragon game. Thanks in advance.

  • You actually made this with RPG maker, damn, I made some Megaman games on game maker, but man, you really made the impossible possible, my hat comes off to you sir. With such engine abuse, the possibility's are endless.

  • @mmffl123456

Thanks!^^ Yeah, well "engine abuse" is the right word. It was such a pain in the butt to make all of this work like it should at in the end it wasn´t even that impressive because the RPG Maker is just not build for stuff like that. But I had a lot of fun with this project and it gave me a lot of good ideas for later projects : D

  • Wow, this is quite impressive! I mean, I've seen side scrolling space shooters, but this is pretty amazing for rm2k3! I'd love to try it when you get the download link back up!

  • @Turbo852 Thanks^^

  • Rmk2003 is not suited for these type of games,

instead use something like game maker or multimedia fusion,

they are a way better for the plateformer style...

  • @MrBaffou

You are right but it was not about making the perfect clone or something. It was about making a Metroid Game with very little to work. The actual challenge of "abusing" the RPG Maker to make something completely different is something I really enjoy^^

  • @zero2234geschmack

Ok , not problem at all i suggest in that case to use rmk XP,

there are some nice script made especially

for plateformers games, and it's a good way to switch beetwen event programming and scripting.

be the way, do you have a dowloading link for the demo?

  • @MrBaffou

Nah iam not using the RPG Maker that much anymore^^ Just finishing of my current project and then move on. I know the XP though, not my kind of maker, I am using VB and C instead on my future projects, nevertheless the scripting feature of the rmxp is awesome.^^ There is no link to a demo(well ok there is one somewhere in the interwebs but oh well) because the game is allready finished. I just have to back up the downloadlink but I got a lot of stuff to do at the moment.^^

  • @MrBaffou You say that, but LOOK HOW GOOD THIS LOOKS!

  • When will the link be up?

  • This reminds me an awful lot of Zero Mission.

  • @FlamingBat

; ) That may be because Zero Mission was the whole inspiration for this : D

  • @zero2234geschmack Okay. I guess I'll try it out...

    ...when the link is fixed.

  • @FlamingBat

Darn... I knew I forgot something....thanks dude : O Gotta fix that soon!

  • @zero2234geschmack I'll be waiting. I'll just have to check back from time to time.

Does it work on Windows 7?

  • @FlamingBat

Good question...but it should work on windows 7. It works on Vista afterall....^^

  • NOOOooOOO...

    Link died...

I never got to finish it...

  • Is this Zero...ON PC!!?!??

  • Do an Original Mega-man One with Buster Charging from 4 5 & sequels 6.

    I dislike 1 2 & 3's Non-Buster - But Love 3's added Sliding Megaman upon ground technique;

"MM9 & MM10 Stink Because he Can't slide or charge really." Lols.*

    I'm Hard-Core at these ,

I even Smart enough; to realize MM3 Had the BEST Rush Jet; engine.

    4 5 & 6's Rush jets SUCKED Lols. anyways.<3"

  • @SkyRifter

Nah I tried it a long time ago when I wasn´t able to do jack shit with the RPG Maker^^ It really soucked but I have no interest in doing something like Megaman again. I had a lot of Testproject especialy MMX and MMZero but they were kinda shity. However if you watched my MM10 Fake Trailer than you saw my latest MM installment made with the RPG Maker 2003^^ However it is not playable at all, just a bunch of Pictures I moved the way Megaman would move. But yea it was rm2k3^^

  • >>AWESOME STRUCK!!* <3

  • How do you make Sidescroller/platforming games in RM2k3 anyways?

  • This looks badass! :D:D:DDDD

  • @bert456100

    Thanks^^

  • AWSOME ZERO REASLLY AWSOME I AM downloading this :D

  • @ranma44

Thx^^ But don´t expect to much. As said it is an old game and my technics back than weren´t really the best...
