Just for information's sake, the reason it's pronounced zealot and not zee-lot is because the word ''zeal'' is borrowed from French where it's spelled « zèle » (with the accent making the « eh » sound like in « meh » « heh »). This sound is the same as in the English pronunciation of zealot. The French word was borrowed from the latin « zelus », which borrowed from the Greek « jealous » (see the resemblance?).

If "Zealot" is the unique term adopted by the Protoss, then they are the ones who dictate how it is pronounced, and English etymology would be completely irrelevant. I've never heard ANYONE, outside of Starcraft, ever read "zealot" as "zee-lot."
