I love the idea, however I would like to point out that raffia is not always as "green" as people think it is. Raffia attracts rodents (they love to nest in it) and so it is often treated with all sorts of chemicals.
Other options might include: local grasses, most niebourhoods have a vacant block with long grass; Braided recycled paper/ plastic bag strips; last years discarded tinsel etc :) Lovely idea :)

That is so cute, I will have to try this when its Christmas time. I love to wrap and i was always the one who like to do something different when it comes to wrapping presents.

i love your videos , so i subscribed it :) . so far i have made the lamp out a of a milk carton and lamp out of chinese take out containers. i will do this for christmas!!!!!
