Try customise your Mixtrack & Virtual DJ to be exactly like two CDJ's:

salut l ' amis j ' ai commandé la mixtrack elle va arriver dans deux jours!!j ai pas pris la pro mai j ' ai une carte son soundblaster)))) (french) bon son!
ay i heard that this Numark Mixtrack couldnt work with virtual dj or is it cause you have VDJ7!? cause i know Numark Mixtrack Pro works VDJ! get back to me on that.
@Itwasatragedy hey there, it workk with the newest version of virtual DJ which is ver.7, all new version of VDJ have an updated list of controllers u can use, except the virtual DJ 7 Home edition.
@lensure i think it's up to the user's personal preferences. i find that VDJ's search engine and EQs are way better than Traktor. Adding and deleting cues are much simple.
Traktor's effects control are way better than VDJ's and multiple cues setup are much better here, i juz had a little problem in adding & deleting a new one while doing live mixes.

1. Go to first beat- auto cue on a CDJ.
2. Jog Wheel Loop in/out/move- hold Loop button turn Jog Wheel on a CDJ.
3. Cue Block Select- Select Cue Blocks and have access to 42 Cues on a CDJ.
4. Reverse Button.
I also like to map a Transitions Button for VJing seperate to the mixer so I can VJ Transition Video's before or after I mix the audio. Also use Time Slip for Reverse & Scratching

Try customise your Mixtrack & Virtual DJ to be exactly like two CDJ's:
1. Go to first beat- auto cue on a CDJ.
2. Jog Wheel Loop in/out/move- hold Loop button turn Jog Wheel on a CDJ.
3. Cue Block Select- Select Cue Blocks and have access to 42 Cues on a CDJ.
Then it'd be like owning two CDJ's, I also like to map a Transitions Button for VJing seperate to the mixer so I can VJ Transition Video's before or after I mix the audio component of the Music Videos.

@ianComstar Oh haha sorry man! You didn't look that old soo.... haha. :x
Im plannin on buyin that DJ Controller too btw. Do you play with that at clubs? Or do you use CDJ's at the clubs?
RaulGigantes 1 year ago
@RaulGigantes haha...i get that a lot...
i use my own dj controller because i can reach to my song library faster than using a cdj, also i can search for song easier.

I got the Numark Mixtrack and I got Traktor with it which I dont like. How do you like Virtual DJ is it good???
lensure 1 year ago
@lensure i think it's up to the user's personal preferences. i find that VDJ's search engine and EQs are way better than Traktor. Adding and deleting cues are much simple.
Traktor's effects control are way better than VDJ's and multiple cues setup are much better here, i juz had a little problem in adding & deleting a new one while doing live mixes.
ianComstar 1 year ago
What speakers are you using with your mixtrack ?? just ordered the mixtrack pro
TheDeankyle 1 year ago
@TheDeankyle depends on where I plugged my laptop. you can either plug directly to your Multimedia speaker or a mixer for more powerful sound.
