Bush: Much Progress in Afghanistan Since '01

I'm no Bush fan but let me tell you everything he just said is true.

There are innumerable projects going on in Afghanistan today. One that I find most outstanding is the "Emergency Irrigation Projects" which are carving the desert to take water to the remotest rural/tribal areas. It has greatly improved wheat crop yields and are greatly benefitting Afghan's economy which is mostly agriculture based. Women are able to vote, work and overall the future is looking bright. It'll be challenging tho.
