She was forced by family to go to a different college far away and her mother hid the letters from her, therefore making Allie think that Noah didn't really want her anymore. So as she moved on with her life, she fell in love with another man. Fate brought her back to her soul mate. The other man did a hard thing and let her go back to Noah....Love is complicated and in the end, true love finds its way.

I adore the book more, the book is so much better than the movie and the movie leaves so much out.
