  • what happened to him? I tried to look him up on wikipedia, but I couldn't find him (Don't know his last name)

  • @Getrealpeeps Google "junior giscombe" and you'll see everything although it's not a whole lot cause I'm like you, wondering why he vanished :/

  • @kbw1970 Actually we are lucky enough to have the great man himself doing a live P.A. tonight at our event!! Juniors voice is STILL killing it!!

Search Facebook for "SOUL FINE (The Valentines Special with Junior Giscombe)"

  • @LeeVxt Yeah I agree, it's great that he's still able to put on a good show after 30 years!

  • 1982!!! was a great year!!! I know that for a fact!

  • This will always remind me of Charlie Buckeye D.J. at the Chez Paree in Atlantic City in the 80's

  • @palmmage24 thanx 4 your comment dear, i have a son 27yrs. old

and he's not as connected as u. He listens 2 the garbage of today.

It's about respecting the past, so again thank u.

  • wow PALMMAGE24 so young and so bright!! if you were only there in

those days you would really understand!!

  • @tootie1020 I wish I was seemed like things were so much better back then, then from now.

  • @tootie1020 I was there and it was the best era for many things, not just the music. Britain seemed a much nicer place back then.

  • Im 18 years old and this music is so much better than the music of today but thats just my opinion

  • To the 4 idiots that disliked this one, crackheads are not welcomed to listen to classic R&B, go elsewhere and quit wasting my time and yours!

  • @kbw1970 AMEN!!!

  • THE MAX !

  • MOMMA USE TO SAYY♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

  • I found this track through the cover that was sung by a former British MTV presenter.

  • FEEL GOOD MUSIC

  • I don't get all the hate and negative talk over current music vs past. Music always changes and it always will, that's what keeps it marketable and one of the reasons why there will always be music. Enjoy what you like and let the others enjoy what they like. People always associate with the music of their generation and believe it's the best.

  • @detroitos I agree that most do believe music of their generation was the best. However, you cannot deny that most of the music today is pretty stamped and pressed. It sounds like the music you used to hear when you were sitting in the theater waiting for the show to start. It's even getting to the point where you can't really distinguish between some of the music genres anymore. No one has to have the ability to sing - they simply run their voices through a synthesizer and PRESTO!

  • @detroitos I agree with you 100%

  • Dance music with a positive message...this can never get old.

  • Merci !..

  • its funny to me how im only 12 and its like i was around in the 80's and early 90's because i like hip hop and pop but i love the blues my mom says i get that from my granny because she loved the blues LONG LIVE THE BLUES!!! i even know almost all of the blues songs :) one day all the songs my generation likes to listen to which i like to will be over and done with but everyone will always remember the blues

  • Is this "Raj" from "What's Happening?

  • Mom always knows Best!

  • Heavy D & The Boyz - "Is It Good To You"

  • Kids wake up this is real music, not the crap Beyonce goes into the studio and the still have to play around with her vocals. It's so sad that she not only fakes being a singer she, not only has to fake being w/child.

Get into Teena Maria, Evelyn Champagne King, The great Billie Holiday (She's Jazz) Although the greatest. Patrice Rushen. If your really into music you are harming yourself by not listening to these great artist. Not for them there would be no fakes like Beyonce and Rihanna etc,

  • @ztellers27 ITS FUNNY YOU SAY THAT BUT U DON'T KNOW BEYONCE PERSONALLY ND YES SHE IS PREGNANT IF U PAY ATTENTION BUT U DON'T BEY MAKES MUSIC SURE IT ISNT SET IN THE TIME AND PLACE AS THIS BUTS ITS STILL GOOD MUSIC SHE TALKS ABOUT LOVE ND THINGS CLOSE TO HER ND PEOPLE CAN RELATE THATS Y SHE'S A BIG STAR HAVE YOU BEEN IN THE STUDIO WITH HER NO I HAVE AND SHE GOES BACK TO HER ROOTS TO FIND INSPIRATION AND MAKES GOOD MUSIC I'VE SEEN HER GROW AND SHE MAKES SOME OF THE REALEST SHIT OUT THERE

  • @mzrenayperry08 Why are you yelling ?!!!! x)

  • Anutha classic...wow, yep remember what momma used to say....um, for the most part we discovered she wuz right.

  • My mother has this on her heavenly iPod! R.I.P. Momma!! Love your daughter!

  • ahh.. so this is where Warren G. got the music for his song "Do You See"

  • I was 19 when I bought the LP. And I still have that song in my mind, even 29 years later !

  • Wow, I was 9 when this song dropped. Cool!

  • 3 people used to get spanked by their mama.

  • Its great to see the younger generation getting back and catching up with our generation and noticing that our music is better than do today. I HATE BRITTANY SPEARS.......too overly rated and stupid. NO Word and Just words repeated over and over and over and over again.

  • @davewc39 woahhhhh there budddy ....noticing that you music is better than todays? first of all it is all OUR music. 2nd If you're generalizing all music made today as stuff that sounds like brittney spears then I think YOU need to do some catching up yourself. check out ed banger records ...pretty funky stuff. french electro be warned but there definitely is some great stuff there. R.I.P. DJ Mehdi

  • @davewc39 You hate Britney Spears ? Cool. And if someone can like Britney Spears and old songs like this one, what are you going to say ? I'm like that and I think that it's so easy to say that the new generation is stupid because you don't like the music. All of the music of now is not shit. You have a closed mind if you think like that.

  • @davewc39 thank you

  • The song always stops and loads at 0:32.

  • such a GREAT song :D

  • i like this version better than the other...... much better

  • @hollywoodpayne Listen close enough, if you notice Bone Thugs copied the beginning of this song & used it for the beginning of "Thuggish Ruggish Bone".

  • @gotham531 Yeah Kid u right I almost 4got that one,but whut great sound hasn't been sampled? These artist see u have 2 know where music has been b4 u know where it's going!! I'm just glad some artist keep a lil Ol Skool in their music!!

  • @hollywoodpayne Yep I know, just making a keen observation of that, alotta people don't know that. Plus 2 years ago when they performed @ the "Legends of Hip-Hop" show @ chene park, Bone even made a point of that by letting their dj play the beginning of "Mama Used To Say" before launching into the "Thuggish Ruggish Bone" song fyi.

  • @gotham531 I would never have made that connection between those two songs...

  • @57worldwide Yep, just listen to the beginning of those 2 songs again when you get the chance.

  • @hollywoodpayne ..word up. Don#t forget the 70's and the EARLY 60's. Music was koo back in the days. no plastic music it was real music with groove. Thank god for the era of music !!

  • I remember this joint they use play this at skate city on the southside of CHI-Town back in the 80's!!!!!!!

  • Rock that sh** , Use to be the jam back in the day. Crystal's Palace joint. still sound good today the long version is jamming. Me being a musician myself - man I miss the live bands.

  • @darron6owell I'm 16 years old and I absolutely love this kind of music. I'd hate to say that music this good actually influenced the music of today, sure some bands are good, mostly those that were in the 70's, 80's and 90's that are still around. But I wish this kind of sound was still around. I shoulda been born in the 80's. lol

  • @BinXshoe youre so right :)

  • @BinXshoe i was born 1980 and i missed out on it.. so you should wish to be born in '75 maybe? lol

  • @BinXshoe i thought i was the only one

  • @BinXshoe boy if yall don't stop with that im sixteen and i like shit comments, ima reach out and slap the first child i see...you must be a lame ass sixteen year old, man. live your life and listen to and do something that hasn't been done before. quit reminiscing about good old days the days before you existed...make your own history. all that attention seeking shit is getting old.

  • @jcurry3school calm down...the only reason people make it known that they're 16 and they still listen to oldies is because many adults complain how the generation's kids listen to electric, autotuned music that's now on the radio. when a singer's voice is autotuned, it means they don't have the talent to sing it naturally. and, personally, listening to a robot singing is not on my top 10 list of things to do.

  • "To be recognized is when I'm not unmasked"... Most people dont know how deep this song is... I pray for those that fall victim of the Illumanati... take your time people...please take you time.

  • @mixityourself

Not sure i understand what you mean? Can you explain please.
