@Elvishadabutler If the media won't allow the Green Party to speak, how will anyone hear about the very legitemate ideas that this fledgling party has? Most people are too ignorant to look up what they stand for and will vote for Conservatives or Liberals or NDP's because they are afraid to look at something new and different (even if it turns out that their better). We are all sheep who prefer to follow "the leader".
It's all political. Have you studied United Nations Agenda 21 and how it's being implemented in the US? Search YouTube for "How your community is implementing AGENDA 21" The lady with long, white hair is a liberal speaking to a conservative group.
@MsPsycho29 If you read the Green Parties website, you will see that their platform is more far reaching than any other parties and they are concerned about all aspects of Canadian life. Health care, pollution, employment......Try reading about them before you bash!
@Elvishadabutler The Greens got nearly 10% of the vote last election- but not in such a way that they got any seats. The Bloc will never campaign outside of Quebec, period, and is actively for breaking up the country. Why is Duceppe allowed in the debate, but not May? Because the Bloc has seats? Isn't that a bit backwards?
the fact that a separatist party can be so involved and that the NDP and Greens get so many votes but have way less to show for it is a NO BRAINER that the system is flawed.
you're obviously not going to vote green but you must not get that this is about democracy. its not about the fact that you won't vote green. its about a small nnumber of private CEOs saying that the Greens cant be in the debate, even though they have no rules
dude, you're saying you support the curernt system that allows a party that only runs in once province and is not there for the good of canada to participate in these debates just because they have a seat? i cant vote for them. their goal is to never become leaders of canada. 1/15 voters vote green and we should have no say at the leaders debate or in the house? its just silly and its a system that was set up for (and to benefit) a 2 party system.

@Elvishadabutler If the Green party is on the ballot, we deserve to hear what they say. It's called democracy.

The green party has a candidate running in every riding in Canada. therefore, Elizabeth May does not participate in the debate.
The bloc quebecois has a candidate in only the ridings located in Quebec. therefore, Gilles Duceppe is permitted to participate in the debate.

@aerialpunk The Bloc is allowed in because the other parties are afraid of loosing the votes of a 'nation' of whiners.
