  • 6:42 for a second i thought he was peeing because he was scared..

  • I guess back then there wasn't the rule "Don't use the elevator in the event of an emergency due to the likelihood of a power failure"

  • TORPEDO!...where?...there!....oh look...BOOOM! you gotta love human curiosity

  • Why couldn't she have survived like her sisters... what seems to baffle me is that Mauretania AVOIDED becoming prey to u-boats because of her amazing speeds. Lusitania here IS ALSO speedy SO WHY DID SHE GET HIT?! (I understand she was close to land at that point and that could have been the reason but still... XP)

  • German are bastards for doing this n the britanic

  • if whatever exploded didn't explode would she have stayed up long enough to be run aground or to make port

  • I highly doubt that they would be playing Strauss on a British liner during WWI....

  • In case of flooding, don't use the elevator!

  • why do you all say oh my god its so bad what the did, its a bloody war, and during the second world war the soviet navy did fire a torpedo at the willhem gustloff there were more then 5000 on board, and the USAF and the royal airforce burnd hamburg-bremen-berlin-nurenburg-rotterdam-monte casino and so on and on. In every war there are terrible things, so dont yust all say, the germans did this act of war on civillians, but its a funny and acurate movie thats a good thing. pease out

  • So sad

  • This is low buget unkown movie but it is still better than Titanic. Both are tragic and true stories but this one stays focused on the facts and doesn't stray off to an irrelevant sub plot. Thanks for posting this important historical event.

  • @pucksterz12 you should watch Titanic (1979) and A Night to Remember

  • The music on the begginning of this part sounds similar. xD!

  • it is cheap bugdet

  • allied propaganda. the lucitania was caring war materiel.

  • 4:14 -- Well, since the ship has been struck by a torpedo and is sinking, I might as well finish my dessert.

  • @archergrl1996 lol don't want the ice cream to go to waste

  • its a shame that only 4 years earlier white star's R.M.S titanic sank with 1,500 dead and only 711 survivers but unlike titanic lusitania was a casuality of war not accident and the titanic sank slowly wich was like god saying ''you have 2 1/2 hours left to live what you going to do?'' unlike lusitania wich sank so fast most people just didnt have time to react

  • @teletubbykiller23 Casualty of war ? More like a CRIME. This movie makes it look like they hurled a topedo on a cruise ship! Germans behaved so badly at the beginning of the 20th century. I'm so glad they are much better people today!

  • why does her fernaces have flames licking outside the boiler casing?

  • why build a ship 3 years after titanic sank

  • @wazupmiley97 lusitania was built before titanic

  • I hope the commanders of the U20 are burning in hell right now.

  • A lot of people bash on the Germans for their policy on unrestricted warfare. As an American submariner, I am aware of our policy during WWII. It was executed perfectly and brought about the demise of the Japanese Empire. Our boats sub sunk any ship flying the rising sun including French vessels. Some of these ships carried our own POWs. While German submariners are accused of being criminals, ours were hailed as heroes. Only goes to show that history is written by the victors.

  • I think that German was right, not wanting to sink the Lusitania.

  • ^ Agree

They thought that a bloody nose would be enough for her. But they didn't know that the whole ship would sink in just 18 minutes..

  • You fuck Rasict bitch!

  • Schwieger, you Son of a Whore, I hope you are burning in Hell. You Criminal.

  • i hope that sub has been sunk!

  • U-20 was sunk later towards the end of WWI

  • Serves them right for killing lots of innocent people onboard the ship.

  • True, but it depends on the perspective. If you see Germany as cold-blooded killers, which they are not, it's just war, then they are bast.. well ya. However, if you see them as national heroes, then they are-it laid foundation for history to be made, but I'm not saying that I necessary like that Germany slaughtered innocents. But hey, they were warned.

  • The story about Charles Voegele may be apocryphal; some documents list him as an electrician, not a quartermaster.

  • I agree 100%.

  • To what?

  • If people just didn't follow orders when they didn't agree, nothing would ever get done. The people who are given the orders don't always know the full reason why. In the event that it is known that the group of people giving the orders has bad intentions, EVERYONE should refuse orders. But one person shouldn't disobey an order because they think it might be bad. Chances are, it would happen anyway.

  • @graywolf7 -You grew up watching too many Porky PIg videos. Try actually reading a book for a change. U-boat crews relished the opportunity to sink huge steamers as it was another notch in their belt. The U-boat crews with the greatest number of sinkings usually got the "Iron Cross", the greatest honor a German soldier could ever achieve.

  • @graywolf7 this is war. there is no time to be a hero.

  • The germans have commited a big war crime.

  • They sure have! and they should have been punished big time!

  • I have to admire vogele.

  • Bastards! Lusitania was so beautiful she did not deserve to go like that and all those poor people on her. But the Germans are not the so called filth of mankind but those who sank the Lusitania were indeed war criminals. I Think Lusitania met a far more violent fate then Titanic.

  • I feel the same way about the way the Germans behaved on the sub. When you release a torpedo and kill innocent people, that is a sin against God. And that is exactly what the Germans did on that sub.

  • did you know that the germans made a medal to celebrate the sinking of the lusitania and every member of the crew was awarded the iron cross

  • I read about the sinking of the ship and from what was written, made my blood run cold.

  • From wikipedia:

In December 2008, Gregg Bemis discovered a further four million rounds of .303 ammunition and announced plans to commission further dives next year for a full-scale forensic examination of the wreck.[5] The new discovery bolsters the Germans' case that the Lusitania was a military ship.[5]

Shame on Royal Admirality for making it a military ship and using the civilians as a shield, shame on the German Navy to sink it despite all the innocent civilians.

  • Germany has a real, ugly background history :(

  • Fuckin krauts haha

  • It is indeed horrible.

They shouldn't have used elevators during an emergency.

  • they should've used the stairs

  • What a horrible tragedy to have witnessed.
