where was he when the installer was 6 hours late to install my dish, came all alone in the middle of a blizzard in the dark, up about 20 feet on a ladder with no spotter, then a few months later when my dish wound up dangling from my second story roof and when I called about it they tried telling me there would be a forty dollar "relocation" fee to come and prevent it from killing some innocent person who may walk under it...I just told them to leave it and my lawyer will call when someone dies

That's not true it's dtv is rated #1 in the us and has been for many yrs. I had dish for about 8years then switched to dtv in 06 and haven't turned back since. I'm happy with dtv. I didn't like dish customer service so made the switch.
People do not like working for DTV as the company treats them as a number and not as a person. Their turnover rate in the call center is high as hell. They have new hire training classes twice a month and turnover rate is like 150 people a month.
'The under-appreciated front line'. That's exactly what it is. I used to work for Dish Network (thank goodness the call center closed...breath of relief...) and not many of us really felt appreciated at all. Bosses all need to take a few steps back and see what the 'lesser' employees have to do on a day to day basis. It's not easy.
