@WHODATPICKER I'm not sure. I've been living with pain a long long time. I've lost most of the fat around my liver, but I still have back pain. Whether cirrhosis or muscle/joint issues, I take a lot of pain medicine even now after successfully finishing my interferon treatment two and a half years ago. The liver doesn't generate pain itself, but as it gets larger and larger from inflammation, I suppose it could put pressure on other organs or the central nervous system itself.
Hi Bill I'm so glad you are back swimming again. Keep it up its great exercise and that is one of the keys to success when it comes to health. It must be difficult not having your family but try to stay positive and concentrate on getting yourself better!!! Take Care hunni. I'm thinking about you:)
Glad your doing good Bill. I myself have been dealing with a few things myself. I had a few interferon treatments too. Lot of other treatments too. Long story. So far I have been clean now for about 5 years. Next check next month. Like I always tell everyone facing these situations When it comes to being a patient YOU are your own best advocate. Always get at least a second opinion if you are not sure about treatment. And in my case. I always pray for the best but prepare for the worst.
@sandiaman1 I just found out today that my viral looad is NOT detectable. So, I'm 18 months post treatment and gaining my strength back, but the mental stuff is still off a bit. Take care. Great to hear from you.
