Amazing tone! I am in a U2 tribute band, and recently just upgraded to the HD500 a couple weeks ago. Can you tell me where you put the shimmers in your chain? Why did you decide to go with two rather than one? Thanks, keep them coming! I'd love to trade patches with you sometime.

@Zooropa1310 I put all the delays, reverbs, modulations and equalizations at the end of the chain, after the AC30 emulation. I use a louder one to the main riff and another to the verse ;) Good luck with your U2 tribute band, I'm searching people to do a tribute band of U2 too, but it's really difficult.

@GonzaU2 Interesting signal path... Ill have to try my effects after the amp and see how they sound. Right now we have 3 1/2 sets (about 26 songs). It's tough work, but the HD500 really makes it easy. I can get most songs on a single patch, but I sometimes have to use 2. The AC30 sim is AMAZING. Also, if you haven't done this yet. You can set the expression pedal to the mix parameter on the octoverb, so you can get a subtle fade in! Quite nice :)

@Zooropa1310 Yeah I know! but I always use the expression pedal to control the volume, I'm going to buy the EX1 to controll other parameters like Wah, Octoverbs, mix... Yeah I love the HD500, if you work hard with it you can get amazing tones!
