  • @truthseeker0183 Actually Derek is right. I was at the concert and witness first hand the jerk of a security guard. It was awesome!

  • @truthseeker0183

She went after the girl on the cellphone at a different show. The girl was interrupting "Code Red"

  • No The girls were dancing and the security guard was being an asshole and Tori told the guard 2 get the fuck out of her show not the girls...she wanted people to dance and groove to the music

  • she is such a bitch but also one of the singers i apreciate a lot

  • I guess the moral of the story is never hire the Hell's Angel's to do security at your show.

  • "this is not f*cking school!"

    i like her!

  • I heart Tori :)

  • I was there for that show. Security was being control freaks and Tori had them leave the fans alone and the show continued with a problem.

  • OMG!!!

    I fucking love her!

  • "A good Tori show is nothing less than a spiritual experience." Well said.

I do miss her "back in tha day" though. I was quite an amazing time. Wish I could recapture those feelings.

  • I'm prolly being too critical. In the big picture she is more accessible & hard-working than anyone. There are rock concerts and there are Tori shows. A good Tori show is nothing less than a spiritual experience. I guess I just miss the "girl & her piano" shows. Dont get me wrong- growth is good- I dont think she should do Cornflake Girl every show or anything-its not that- her classical roots HAVE matured and thats good. Maybe Im put off by the comments of some of her fans about it- I dunno.

  • She IS good about mingling pre-show. Most die-hard Tori fans (myself included) have had the opportunity to meet / get an autograph. It just seems that at some point she realised that her demographic loved to see her humiliate a fan or the local crew- so she does it more & more often. Die hard Tori fans are her bread & butter- maybe she figures she can afford to sacrifice a fan or two in exchange for assured online official Tori merchandise sales from her core "dejected rebel" base.

  • Very interesting point. I certainly can see where you are coming from. I am sad that a die hard fan would not go to another show at this point. Makes me want to know more. I'm definitely a die-hard myself, but have to say that I am not one of the dejected rebel over-the-top "non-conformists". Her concerts were full of "vampires" in the 90's, and some beyond, but lately there have been a lot of middle aged, "normal" adults at her concerts, Just another little something I noticed.

  • It was refreshing to see some "everyday" people there. That core base of dejected rebels is still there though - goes to show that they can be pretty fucking mean people in ways. I have never liked the asshole rebel. Be a rebel if you want, but don't be a fucker too, you know!? In terms of taking advantage of a demographic - that does annoy me.

  • You really sound like you're clinging to some old experience that has faded, and now you're looking around at the general culture for some excuse to write it all off. I was a huge fan of Amos' first three albums, and they're still the best by a mile, but she has always had a totally annoying fanbase and expecting genius from her is just too much- you can't be genius on every album. I don't care who you're talking about, nobody is. And ew, Beekeeper tour? Why? Awful album, cheeseball tour concept

  • @plaidnum the fans were dancing, security wasn't letting them, and so she got right pissed. she didn't want another soulless audience like Seattle.

  • Used to be a fan. She has too many "bad nights ". Last time I'll ever see her was Beekeeper- the crowd was far from sold out so she did a completely half-assed show. She likes to pick a victim for her glazed over friends to "wewt"over. All she had to do was pull the security to the side and say "Its okay- let 'em be"- but no- she feeds on negative energy. She used to be cool- now shes this egomaniac whose forgotten where she came from. Rant over- you can start throwing tomatoes at me.

  • She had already asked the guards, pre-show, not to bother the crowd unless they acted like nut cases. THEN she tried getting Smitty to take care of the guards on the down low. When Smitty did not or could not hear her, she took care of it herself. Also, everyone does a half-asses show sometimes. Performers get tired, like the rest of people. I see where you are coming from, about her seeming like an egomaniac - but we don't know exactly how we ourselves would react if we were as famous.

  • LEGEND.

    hahah

i would love to go see her in concert xD!

  • This was great, but I still nothing beats the Five F&*king Seconds during The Waitress at Darien Lake September 3, 1999. That was a great show.

  • She is my favorite. EVER.

  • This just became my fav Tori video. Don't mess with Tori's fans!! LOL

  • awesome!!!!

  • LOVE HER!!!!!

  • The BEST!

  • Damn, what an unruly scene. Yay Tori!

  • Tori is the best. She is just...wow! I love her. :)

  • f*ckin awesome!!!! love TORI!

  • LOL!

  • Lol. through this whole thing, I was like "I love you, Tori." She is so funny. "This is not fucking school."

  • yessss, i freaking love tori, lol.

  • That was AWESOME!

  • I have been to a handful of shows and i have seen her do this kinda thing 3 times. she is hilarious! I love her!

  • Dude get a new Video Camera! It's worth watching tho just to see Tori be herself. don't mess with Tori...Oh yeah those that speak when Tori sings shouldn't speak for a week...

  • who did she tell to get out?

  • she was yelling at the security guards who were harassing fans in the front row for DARING to get up and dance.

  • Thank you for filming this and having it shared =)

  • You are most welcome! I just got lucky.

  • AWESOME! That's why I like her. That's badass!

  • Tori I love you, but in your own words.. get off your cross, we need the wood -_-

  • does she do this at every show?

  • No, this is the second time...

  • I don't know of which second time you're talking about but I know she did in : Tori Amos Live in Montreux - 1991/1992 (in 1991, she plays on a keyboard and in 1992 on a piano, no other instrument)

She stopped playing the piano and asked two men if they were here to listen to music or to talk ? she pointed out to them that they've paid, she thinks, quite a lot of money for that... :-)

  • LOL!!!! GO TORI!

  • That is awesome. My mom and I were at one of Tori and Ben Fold's concerts at PNC in NJ-Tori had to give a tongue lashing to some freak who was distracting her by the stairs-this was the same night that her sound kept getting f-kd up and it was her bday! LOVE TORI!

  • Haha! That's too funny! XD

  • Shes amazing!

  • haha! I LOVE this clip! And I love love love Tori

  • haha! awesome!

  • wish i was there

  • that guys singing is hilarious!!!

    tori kicks ass!!!

  • Jeez, I have GOT to see this woman live...This was incredible...

  • I have seen her several times live and she is awesome! Totally worth it. When she tours again, you HAVE to get seats in the front! It is awesome. Also, do the meet and greet, you will meet other Tori Fans and it rocks!

  • jennyla5 is telling the truth, go if you can and the closer the better. seeing her perform up close is magical. tori shows are one of the best live experiences you could ever have.

  • ya i kno, i saw Tori live last November, it truly was just magical.

  • lol that was awesome...

  • She's incredible

  • That was just as good as Trent Reznor saying "Steal my shit!" lol...Fucken great!!!

  • Fantastic woman:-)

  • Tori rocks! that was soooo awesome!!

  • i didnt even see what the hell happened... did someone try and jump the stage??

  • ahahah. Tori Tori.

  • That is soooo why we LOVE her. :D

  • It got really annoying shortly after this. Everyone took her comment about it being ok to get up out of your seat to mean run up to the front, block the stage, block the aisles. I just assumed she meant it was ok to stand up and move around a little, not run around the whole venue like a maniac. Try being 20 rows back and not being able to see a damn thing because people in the rows behind you decide to scramble up to the front and block everything from view.

  • then they should join in

  • What an absolute legend she is!

  • what's the name of the song she's playing?

  • Big Wheel

  • Am I the only one who thinks she was rude? Poor security guard, he probably was instructed to be tough in this concert and he thought he was doing his job. Even if he was wrong, there are other ways to resolve it than putting a hissy bitchy fit and putting the whole crowd against him.

  • Well, yes, it seems so. :)

  • I'll go with yes... I think you're the only one who thinks she's rude. It seems maybe you're too used to being cattle. But these PAYING concert goers don't need harassment when they're doing NOTHING wrong.

  • are you dense? hahah how can I be the cattle if I'm the only one who thinks she's rude. hahaha The concert goers weren't doing anything wrong, but so the security guards, they were just doing their job, or at least they thought. no harm

  • because you're following the idea that authority should be respected when they become cocky and overstep thier shit.

  • yeah I already knew that. But that doesn't mean that's a "cattle" idea. Especially when I'm the only who thinks that here.

  • If you can hear what she's saying, she says that she'd told security that it was alright if people get up and dance. In that case, he's not doing what he was instructed, he's doing what he was instructed NOT to do.

  • yep

  • she kicked out the security guard, he was trying to tell the people in the 1st row to sit down. thats why tori said "carolinians are gonna get up and dance, this isnt fkn school!" he deserved it, they werent hurting anyone, its HER SHOW!!!! you go tori, we love you. she loves her fans just dont disrespect her like being on your cell phone, she will boot u out.

  • I was in 3rd row at this show in Charlotte. The security guard was being a total ass. She kicked him out. This was one of the highest-energy shows I've ever seen of Tori's, much less any artist who's pretty inert/in one spot for their show. A+++

  • i love tori, you're right tori, stupid girls, stupid crowd was sitting on their ass, shittttt. Wakeup boys, tori is here, please stand up!!!!

"get the fuck out of my show "

  • omg that was awesome!

  • i dont get it.. was she kicking out her fans? or the sec. guars?

  • The security guards, here in Charlotte. In San Diego she was kicking out some obnoxious fans. There was some confusion between the two.

  • terribl quality

  • oh well excuse me, next time I will smuggle in my Hi-Def super-zoom camera and zoom in on her pores!

  • i once was at her show in london, royal albert hall. 2girls stardted to dance during the last encore and the bouncers wanted to kick them out. tori intefered, telling them to leave them there...what i dont get is, why tori mostly plays seated venues?! i want to dance, but i cant because im (maybe?)not allowed to! and her tracks are meant for dancing, rocking!no wonder these guys were sitting on their arses...

  • That does seem very weird that it's seated venues

  • The stupid bitches deserved to get kicked out. One of them was whining about how all she was doing was telling her friend on the phone that she missed a great part. How about waiting until after the show, rather than distracting the performer and annoying the other fans. Dumbasses.

If I was Tori, I don't know if I would've told them to "get the fuck out" but I would've told them to "shut the fuck up" and said "hey, this isn't a time to be on the phone...you're distracting the other people here.

  • this isn't the one where they were on the phone, this is the one where there fans are dancing and the security guards try to take the dancers away. Tori tells the security to get the fuck out of her show. I think the one your talking about is the San Diego incident.

  • *the fans* not there fans haha

  • If that's the case, that's a totally different situation...the security guards shouldn't kick them out because they're dancing.

The other I stand by though.

  • And then it became a battle of wills between who wanted to stand up and who wanted to sit down. A bit of a bad vibe. But this was one of the best shows I have ever seen by any performer. The lighting was incredible as you can see even from the low quality vid. I thought Tori's outbuurst was part of the show !!!!

  • I was at this show. Up until this point, most of the crowd was sitting on their ass. There were three women dancing at stagefront. It was stunning when Tori stopped, went in their direction and said "get the fuck out of my show". At first I thought she was talking to the women. Then everybody started cheering and I figured she was chastising the rest of the crowd for not getting off their asses. Interestingly, in our section a guy got visibly angry with some women who insisted on dancing.

  • I love it! Get the fuck out of my show! Tori rules.

  • she gave us the same "get the fuck out of my show" part, literally, to us in bratislava, i never knew what was going on, but i heard it was aimed at the security guys as well. just imagine, "...ill be a happy phantomWHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON DOWN THERE?!" just like that, no pause between the song text and the "insertion" bit. she also threw both her shoes at them :) then came some more color commentary, accompanied on piano, "you're such a cocksucker, you're such a fool!" hehe :)

  • A security guard was beating on a fan. When he didnt respond to her talking to him she threw her shoes at him to get his attention. ( someone tried to steal them by the way but she got them back )

  • @YumanoidPontifex

    wow.....lol

  • FUCKING AMAZING!

  • she's amazing, nothing more to say

  • I never saw this. That's fucking sweet! God, how I adore that woman! :-D

  • great lady!

  • hehehe this makes me smile everytime i see it!! XD

"this is not fucking school!" haha

  • I was thereee I can hear me wooing

  • Loves it loves it lots! Go Tori = ) ! That looks like a small venue.

  • what's the name of that song?

  • Big Wheel :)

  • WHOAOAAA!!! sexy MF!!

  • Tori did some great return-heckles during the last show I saw her at. She is great at that kind of thing. Really makes the show even better.

  • i want to see some Tori come backs! =] do you think there are any youtube?

  • I'm sure they are out there :)

  • YES! I LOVE TORI! YOU FREAKIN ROCK GIRL! you tell um:) thanks for the upload!

  • I see the title of the other video has been updated to reflect that it was the Charlotte show. Cool.

  • CONTINUED..... (AHH!!!!!) These girls here in Charlotte weren't doing anything wrong, annoying or rude, and they were not blocking anyone's view. There was never a danger of anything happening that could have possibly knocked over a wheelchair, just to give you a sense of the atmosphere. Everyone was chill, and the guards were just power tripping and bored assholes. The end.

  • The security guards were then escorted away. LATER in San Diego she did bitch out two girls who were acting like nutcases and distracting other fans and just being stupid. This confused everyone becuase the only other video of the Charlotte, NC incident does not have the word "Charlotte" in the title of the clip.

  • continued...(I hate this 500 character max shit) Just before the punch line of Big Wheel (which of course is "I am a MILF"), she takes the situation upon herself. She says TO THE GUARDS (and I am not yelling at you) "hey, get the fuck out of my show" and she went to the edge of the stage and told the guards, once again, that "this is not school, and as long as people don't hurt anyone, and become nutcases [leave them alone]".

  • continued... She expects and gets extra enthusiasm from her North Carolina fans, since she was born there. Note: this is the VIP, exclusive section. TWO girls, mind you, TWO were dancing at the edge of the stage, like normal people, and the security guards were harassing them. Tori yells for her assistant Smitty to go take care of them, but apparently he did not get there in a timely manner.

  • OK help! Who is she mad at? Security guards? I hate to sound like someone's overprotective Mom, but does everyone know how many people have DIED being trampled at concerts?

Don't yell at me - please help me understand what's going on. I'm curious! I haven't gotten to see Tori live since 1996 - i'm disabled and some jerk knocked my WHEELCHAIR over at a meet and greet in Oklahoma City in 1998 (a day that will live in EWF infamy). So... what is actually happening? Help?

  • Okay - from the videographer: she had told the management, pre-show, that as long as people did not "mosh" they could get out of their seats. This was a special show to her. She is from right down the road from Charlotte, and her parents and family were at this concert.

  • Thanks jmichaelanthony! That's exactly what i was curious about - i appreciate your time and the answer!!

Someone gave me a thumbs down? Gee,so sorry to ask a question and be concerned for others. I KNOW Tori would never "diss" a woman in a wheelchair who is concerned that no one else get hurt.

  • You are absolutely right - Tori would never do that. Also, just a side note, I'm MORE than certain that if Tori saw a disabled person being put into danger by someone else, she would chew them out in public - which they would deserve. I don't know who gave the thumbs down - but screw them. I don't see it there now.

  • thanks for posting...I had heard about this lol good for her!!

  • I love how she says "Hey Smitty Come here..." without missing a beat.

  • Great clip but way too much talking over it.

  • i absolutely LOVED the professional widow light show for the wig change!!

and the big wheel dance!! LOVED the tour tbh! LOVE tori too, thanks for posting this! I have the bootleg, but never seen it!

  • You have a bootleg of this actual performance? PLEASE email me! I captured and uploaded this video!

  • Hot

    Tori

    is

    HOT

  • 3:27 is the ejection of the idiots.

  • around 1:00 I hear someone say "I love this song!" teehee. Tori's so cute. I love the dance. And she's a sassy diva. I love it when she tells people to get the fuck out!

  • almost the same thing happened in San Diego in December... is there a chance this is all part of the act???? I wanted to believe not, but perhaps it is :( because I have been at many Tori shows where I wanted to yell get the fuck out of her show to obnoxious people.

  • OMG!!! Tori Is the shit as always I went to her concert and It was just like the I could not stop yelling myself I sympathize

  • I like Tori, but why do some people need to go Whooooooooooo... Whooooooooooooooo Whoooooooooooooo.. Constanly and so damn fucking loud!!..

  • Thats because its being recorded through what looks like to be a shitty mobile phone. Tori is actually one of best musical artists over the last 2 decades.

  • I Love Tori.

  • This is why we Tori fans are the way we are, we love Tori, and Tori loves us! This put the biggest smile on my face today! thanks for posting!

  • Totally agreed. Things like this make me wanna stay home and listen to her music all day. She's great! Love her even more!

  • Yea shes the best around. nun better!

  • TORI PWNS ALL! XDDD She's seriously one of, if not THE best female preformer around today.

  • man, you north carolinians are way more fun than the italians who were at the rome show. and Tori has bigger balls than any guy i know. love.

  • That was f*cking AWeSOME! I love TORI!!!

  • she's incredible :$

  • SHE ROCKS THE PARTY THAT ROCKS THE PARTY

I wish i had danced more now when i saw her

    *

  • OH MY GOSH, TORI IS THE BEST!

  • She rocks.

  • Haha, genius xD Gotta love Tori for that

  • Yes Im Princess Fag boy ! Goddess Tori we Salute You!!!

  • Way to Go Tori!

  • That's so awesome of her to boot out the security guard like that! Her fans got off their butt to dance up front - what's the problem with that? Just make sure none of them go up on stage, that's all... Let them shake their booty though!

  • What homework? I dont like her music. Does anyone out there have her promo clip for Cleveland or Minneapolis, or whereever she is from? It shows the true Tori. Not the fake underground Tori.

  • idiot, she was 14 and under her preacher/father's thumb. This is 30 years later, I wonder how much you've changed in 30 years.

  • THANK YOU! Well said.

  • I wonder how much he has changed too. Well, you know, maybe in 30 of HIS years he hasn't/won't change(d) much. (Who knows how old the fucker is). He seems to have the personality and writing skills of a leech, if that, and probably looks like one too.

  • She's from North Carolina you dick head

  • Tender Specimen, you are so ignorant AND stupid. There is a distinction between the two. Put them together and they are lethal. Do yourself a favor and go write about someone you like rather than waste your time here getting chewed out and shown up by intelligent people who listen to modern, intelligent rock.

  • You just fucking envy her because a loser like you will never be able to do something like that even if you live 10 lives. Plus, your ignorance about her should be blocked so you stop making retarded comments. That's my "tender" hello and goodbye for you. :)

  • if you don't like her music, why are you watching videos of her on youtube?

  • Fake underground Tori? What the hell are you talking about?

You just make mean comments on pages of people you don't like because you like to argue.

There's TONS of porn on the internet, go spill some seed and leave us alone dumb-ass.

  • specifictender does not mean I am tender. It means I only play for the right money, which is alot. I can understand girls liking her cause she whines, but not guys. You must have a ginger fetish.

  • You're just fucking stupid. That's all there is to it .She is a brunette, by the way.

  • Ooooh, you "play" for money...."big money, big money". Keep running your festering hole and making me laugh. I bet you have a small penis. Tori's cock and balls MUST be 10 times bigger than yours.

  • In San Diego there is a clip,

    just add /watch?v=T8H13XmvstA

    after youtube.

    com

to see the vid its around 2 minutes.

btw, Jmichaelanthony, i bet you had a hilarious time :D

  • So, "specifictender", what, specifically, are you tender about? The fact that you will never be anything as great as Tori Amos? That was a pretty "self absorbed" comment to make of her. You apparently have not done your homework, and you don't know her true personality.

  • Just to be clear, this video was taken in CHARLOTTE, NC by ME, and she was chasing off a SECURITY GUARD. Thia was not San Diego.

  • not her greatest album or song... but god i love tori :D

  • du grand Tori Amos voila 1 artiste qui se fait repecté

    trop forte !!!! la miss

  • Tori rules!

So, to make it clear to me and everyone else confused:

in this clip, she tells some stupid security guy to eff off, right? (Yay Tori!)

And then, on some other concert which doesn't seem to have a clip on youtube, she tells some dumb girls to eff off? Okay, got it.

  • then stop looking up her videos on YouTube...you must be bored...?

  • I just blocked your boring ass.

  • I don't understand why people like to say hateful things.

I don't go around watching videos of people I can't stand and making mean comments on their pages . . .

Why do you put forth the effort? It's not like this video was on the main page, you had to look for it.

    You're an idiot.

  • I think people are confused. In THIS clip, she's cussing out security and Smitty clearly gets a security guard out of the way of people who are dancing to the song.

In San Diego, she goes after two girls who had been obnoxious during the entire show - getting up for beer constantly, taking pics of themselves and Tori and annoying the people around them. THAT'S when she said "It's a privilege to sit in the front row. These are my seats. I give them to people who like music."

  • THANK YOU for that clarification! I did not know that happened in San Diego. Thanks again!

  • You can clearly see the security guards walking away and the girls continuing to jump around. If she was talking to the girls don't you think they would have been embarrassed puddles in the floor after being cussed out by TORI AMOS?

  • 2:23 "Hey Smitty, come here"

2:35 Pointing toward front of stage, "What the fuck....??" to Smitty.

2:35 Smitty walks toward front of stage...

    2:41 "Hey hold on....GTF..."

2:53 Smitty escorts security away from stage

    HAHAHAHAHAHA. Tori rules...literally!

This may not be fucking school but that security guard got schooled.

    Classic.

  • I believe what she said after she chased off the security guard, which you can see if you watch, was "I told them that North Caroleeeenians are gonna get up off their ass and move. As long as you don't hurt anybody, and become nut cases; I said 'what, this is not fucking school' (to the security guard acting like we were children)...give me a break" and then continues to play and the girls continue to dance and jump around without Tori bothering them.

  • by the way, she NEVER said the words "...it is a privilege"
