I'm prolly being too critical. In the big picture she is more accessible & hard-working than anyone. There are rock concerts and there are Tori shows. A good Tori show is nothing less than a spiritual experience. I guess I just miss the "girl & her piano" shows. Dont get me wrong- growth is good- I dont think she should do Cornflake Girl every show or anything-its not that- her classical roots HAVE matured and thats good. Maybe Im put off by the comments of some of her fans about it- I dunno.
She IS good about mingling pre-show. Most die-hard Tori fans (myself included) have had the opportunity to meet / get an autograph. It just seems that at some point she realised that her demographic loved to see her humiliate a fan or the local crew- so she does it more & more often. Die hard Tori fans are her bread & butter- maybe she figures she can afford to sacrifice a fan or two in exchange for assured online official Tori merchandise sales from her core "dejected rebel" base.

I don't know of which second time you're talking about but I know she did in : Tori Amos Live in Montreux - 1991/1992 (in 1991, she plays on a keyboard and in 1992 on a piano, no other instrument)
She stopped playing the piano and asked two men if they were here to listen to music or to talk ? she pointed out to them that they've paid, she thinks, quite a lot of money for that... :-)

I have seen her several times live and she is awesome! Totally worth it. When she tours again, you HAVE to get seats in the front! It is awesome. Also, do the meet and greet, you will meet other Tori Fans and it rocks!

And then it became a battle of wills between who wanted to stand up and who wanted to sit down. A bit of a bad vibe. But this was one of the best shows I have ever seen by any performer. The lighting was incredible as you can see even from the low quality vid. I thought Tori's outbuurst was part of the show !!!!

A security guard was beating on a fan. When he didnt respond to her talking to him she threw her shoes at him to get his attention. ( someone tried to steal them by the way but she got them back )

i once was at her show in london, royal albert hall. 2girls stardted to dance during the last encore and the bouncers wanted to kick them out. tori intefered, telling them to leave them there...what i dont get is, why tori mostly plays seated venues?! i want to dance, but i cant because im (maybe?)not allowed to! and her tracks are meant for dancing, rocking!no wonder these guys were sitting on their arses...

The stupid bitches deserved to get kicked out. One of them was whining about how all she was doing was telling her friend on the phone that she missed a great part. How about waiting until after the show, rather than distracting the performer and annoying the other fans. Dumbasses.
If I was Tori, I don't know if I would've told them to "get the fuck out" but I would've told them to "shut the fuck up" and said "hey, this isn't a time to be on the phone...you're distracting the other people here.

And then it became a battle of wills between who wanted to stand up and who wanted to sit down. A bit of a bad vibe. But this was one of the best shows I have ever seen by any performer. The lighting was incredible as you can see even from the low quality vid. I thought Tori's outbuurst was part of the show !!!!

I was at this show. Up until this point, most of the crowd was sitting on their ass. There were three women dancing at stagefront. It was stunning when Tori stopped, went in their direction and said "get the fuck out of my show". At first I thought she was talking to the women. Then everybody started cheering and I figured she was chastising the rest of the crowd for not getting off their asses. Interestingly, in our section a guy got visibly angry with some women who insisted on dancing.

she gave us the same "get the fuck out of my show" part, literally, to us in bratislava, i never knew what was going on, but i heard it was aimed at the security guys as well. just imagine, "...ill be a happy phantomWHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON DOWN THERE?!" just like that, no pause between the song text and the "insertion" bit. she also threw both her shoes at them :) then came some more color commentary, accompanied on piano, "you're such a cocksucker, you're such a fool!" hehe :)

A security guard was beating on a fan. When he didnt respond to her talking to him she threw her shoes at him to get his attention. ( someone tried to steal them by the way but she got them back )

CONTINUED..... (AHH!!!!!) These girls here in Charlotte weren't doing anything wrong, annoying or rude, and they were not blocking anyone's view. There was never a danger of anything happening that could have possibly knocked over a wheelchair, just to give you a sense of the atmosphere. Everyone was chill, and the guards were just power tripping and bored assholes. The end.

The security guards were then escorted away. LATER in San Diego she did bitch out two girls who were acting like nutcases and distracting other fans and just being stupid. This confused everyone becuase the only other video of the Charlotte, NC incident does not have the word "Charlotte" in the title of the clip.

continued...(I hate this 500 character max shit) Just before the punch line of Big Wheel (which of course is "I am a MILF"), she takes the situation upon herself. She says TO THE GUARDS (and I am not yelling at you) "hey, get the fuck out of my show" and she went to the edge of the stage and told the guards, once again, that "this is not school, and as long as people don't hurt anyone, and become nutcases [leave them alone]".

TWO girls, mind you, TWO were dancing at the edge of the stage, like normal people, and the security guards were harassing them. Tori yells for her assistant Smitty to go take care of them, but apparently he did not get there in a timely manner.

Okay - from the videographer: she had told the management, pre-show, that as long as people did not "mosh" they could get out of their seats. This was a special show to her. She is from right down the road from Charlotte, and her parents and family were at this concert.

Also, just a side note, I'm MORE than certain that if Tori saw a disabled person being put into danger by someone else, she would chew them out in public - which they would deserve. I don't know who gave the thumbs down - but screw them. I don't see it there now.

I think people are confused. In THIS clip, she's cussing out security and Smitty clearly gets a security guard out of the way of people who are dancing to the song.
In San Diego, she goes after two girls who had been obnoxious during the entire show - getting up for beer constantly, taking pics of themselves and Tori and annoying the people around them. THAT'S when she said "It's a privilege to sit in the front row. These are my seats. I give them to people who like music."

I believe what she said after she chased off the security guard, which you can see if you watch, was "I told them that North Caroleeeenians are gonna get up off their ass and move. As long as you don't hurt anybody, and become nut cases; I said 'what, this is not fucking school' (to the security guard acting like we were children)...give me a break" and then continues to play and the girls continue to dance and jump around without Tori bothering them.

Please, that is very arrogant and for all we know the girls might have been enjoying her show. ...The reason why so many of us came to check his video out is to see if she actually said what she said. Very unprofessional- her music is not bad, but this has taken away the respect I had for her as a performer.
