@MathNL smoke bomb drops targets, so like range wouldnt be able to target and shoot you with say a fireball. they can however still hit you with aoe attacks. Im guessing this works the same with melee while in the smoke too but if not you still have evasion and conbat readiness for those fights.

Assassination-doing all that dmg and only limited to taking aoe dmg towards yourself

Combat-just throw a smoke bomb over 2-5mobs then hit killing spree then as soon as the smoke clears, all the mobs are dead

Sublety-Throw a smoke bomb, your opponent [player] only has melee aoes and so start running towards the smoke, you hit shadowstep then shadow dance. your choice on where to kill them

this is a pretty amazing ability for escape or protecting a flag carrier, denying targeting for heals in arena, heck i bet you cant even target the flag with this active.

a perfect ability for the rogue, I hope they all get it. This is a signature talent, like lay on hands or death grip.

Mmmmm im pretty sure AoE's do not need targeting, so im pretty sure that Bladestorm, Blizzard or others should still be able to get them whilst in the smoke bomb. Tbh i havent even bothered to research this buh yea if AoE's donthit the rogue then arena really will be one big ass bitch. =D

It should be a hemispherical cloud, admittedly. I like the mechanic, and the fact that you can't target things inside the cloud and if your in the cloud, things that are outside. That is going to be sweet because as rogues we constantly get raped by ranged. BUT it doesn't really make sense if you can still see what's going on inside it. But it does have the same tactical advantages of the force field in Halo 3 haha. which was RAD in CTF.

@jefre117 wait the last seconds on cooldown or maybe use stealth... if that will be possible or use the !"Recuperate"! which will be a Healing ovre time spell for and u will learn it at low lvl... :D and many other things like using the spell in a ring then a lot of your friends will not be capable of taking damage from ranged attacks and if there is 3 hunters your friends will not take alot of damage u see its a great move in many ways but only for group combat...

@jefre117 Of course if you hold a large amount of skill you can kill pretty much anything in the game, also it is possible to grind out the best gear, aside from that for the general pvpers there are always counters. I play a rogue but there is no way in hell i'm going to attempt to take out a warrior by myself. Every class has another class that they suck at dealing with.

@Augustfenix it's dose matter if they can see u in the smoke they cant target u or they friendly targets meaning a healing cant heal some one in the smoke. Let said u in 2v2 fighting mage and a healer so u get the mage low health and the healer max casting range use smoke bomb and the healer cant target the mage till he in the smoke too used at the right time it can be a deadly attack
