I had to watch it two times to understand.. it was going really fast.. basically the panda's golf ball injured that girl's riding bear... so the girl went to get revenge and cut up the panda and used it as a riding panda. . i think that's what it was.

The girl with the sword has a mode of transportation. By cutting out the middle of some animal, she can tempt the animal with it's own stomach and have a free ride. When the panda was golfing, it hit her current transporter, rendering it inafective. Time for fresh meat. So she runs off and gets mister golfing panda as her new vehicle. At least that's the way I see it.

I really like the nonverbal communication between the two main characters as they both understood the conflict from afar and confronted each other with very contrasting tempos. Oddly, they both had a sense of arrogance about their opponent. The way the panda took his time size up the right drive for the approaching danger as oppose the swift smiling girl fatal swing. Actually, I can't believe the panda missed!!
