for me Toonami WAS my intro into anime, a world of programing i've come to love. writing my own little fanfics about the stuff they were putting on Toonami was what got me into writing. Toonami sparked my creativity when i was young and anime in general has kept it going long after i stopped watching toonami. so thank you, original toonami, for introducing me to a world of programming that i love and for being a large part of my childhood.

Its Ironic that this show was the reason it was taken off, (yes thats right) according to Wiki and ANN , When Ruroni Kenshin aired, after awhile they had found it to be "Too Violent" even in edited form, and feared they had put too many violent shows on a quote unquote "Kid Network" so fearing "backlash" they pulled the Toonami block from Weekdays to Saturdays, the most fucked up part is, the ratings after Kenshin aired were some of the highest they had ever had, Toonami was robbed and cheated

Alot of this was also due to the head guy in charge. The first two helped build toonami into a powerhouse, everyone after that took it apart.

Maybe they wanted to "build a name for themselves" instead of only improving the creation of others (that being toonami).

It could of been intended sabotage. But we will never know the truth.

Anyone can remember the glory days of CartoonNetwork and toonami, every afternoon after school you come home sit on the couch and watch toonami till about 5, or 6 PM. Back when the Cell Saga on DBZ was pretty new, Rurouni was airing, so many great things about toonami and CN are gone now, removing a good ammount of CN's teen viewers, and replacing them with adult viewers with adult swim. Adult Swim is what began CN's decline in our hearts and eyes. what bull shit.

Toonami blows now. The best was when Toonami was on weekdays and SVES was on Saturday. But Toonami was still good on Saturday at first, it only went downhill when they added all the kiddie crap. I thought Miguzi was for kiddie crap, why do you want to infect Toonami too? Now you've got 4 hours of Toonami programming, and only 1 hour of that is decent shows that aren't reruns. Then Adult Swim has been sucking the fat one ever since they only showed anime non-reruns on Saturday. CN licks my hole!
