Cool device. My only complaint is there is nobody talking about what it does. Too many youtube videos are missing information. What is so hard about describing the device, it's design, the possible power it may generate etc.????
if manuel power sets this im motion , why can't it be incased with hundreds more.. applying air pressure - (or some other symbiotic force?) seems it could light a home (no joy in that) but i think it would need a crank start - for starters. and that is what i like the most.
It's based off of the same principles of the gyroscope. My guess is that there is different types of gyroscopes and this device would probably be called something like a liner gyroscope or something.
What WOULD have explained it all is if we saw underneath the base through to the opaque rotor where the electronic driver circuitry is hidden. Or pan out to reveal the electromagnet off camera that created the buzzing in the video recording.
Take a standard wheel of ANY type, make it the samt weight as this "device" spin it with your hand, and it will spin for a limited time EXACTLY matching ths spinning time of this wheel.. assuming that tha hinges are the same.
I plan to make three "portable" stator rotors. Round diametric ring magnets mounted exactly in the center of an old hard drive bearing spin platforms. Velcro the underside of that setup and Velcro the large "motors" rotor base.
Now the best operational or sweet spot can be easily found by moving the magnet stator assembly around without drilling any holes. Once the best spot is found the "stator" assembly can be fixed in that position.
Whats the reason for all the holes drilled around the outside base of the large rotor? As I understand the 3 spinning stator magnets are set 120 degrees apart from each other. Why not only 3 holes - 120 degrees apart -- to secure the stator magnets to the base?
What are the 2 round illustrated grey (circles) looking down at the motor? Are they dampers and if so how important are they? How are they constructed? I plan to replicate this motor and already started.
I understand that the 3 red circles illustrated are the spinning round stator magnets.
This is a process of equilibrium. The rotor movement is about as much energy as can be extracted. Kinda like a satellite orbit, you take energy out the orbit decays.
An orbiting body will accelerate to the periapsis and decelerate to the apsis of its eliptical orbit. A similar thing occurs with the potential energy present in the magnetic device. It accelerates to find equilibrium between potential energy, momentum and loss. If the PE and initial momentum to loss ratio is high enough the decay may take a very long time or in the case of natural satellites (earth moon etc) it may be billions of years.
Perhaps it is tapping the additional energy from a source we don't acknowledge or understand. Not very long ago electricity and atomic energy also seemed "magical" and were not appreciated even by the scientific community. Now they are everyday things.
your forgot to include the motor and battery underneath the dome

I found out who the original perpetrator of this fraud is. It's the user "TinselKoala" on YouTube.
Look here before he deletes my comments:

You know it's a gimmick when even the animation doesn't spin.

THAT DIDN'T EXPLAIN ANYTHING!!!

No it didnt, just a 3d model of the device.

Am I the only one who notices that the sound created by the rotor slows down when he lifts it from the table to "Prove" it's not a hoax?

for Al I believe it was 4mm from the rotor base.

Hi Again,
Whats the reason for all the holes drilled around the outside base of the large rotor? As I understand the 3 spinning stator magnets are set 120 degrees apart from each other. Why not only 3 holes - 120 degrees apart -- to secure the stator magnets to the base?
64298 4 years ago
the other holes were originally for fitting spinning stator magnets all around the base.

They are the dampers in place to slow it down.

Are those slots there to cool the magnets as it turns clockwise? :)
AdminOnDuty 4 years ago
I believe they are for fine adjusting the magnets. You'd have to ask Al on one of the forums he visits.
eyepatchentertainmen 4 years ago
hehe, I was just being funny because they are reversed from the prototype :)

amazing how we never get to see the bottom of the device even when modelled in 3D. I guess modelling the battery and electric motor is too difficult.
homolomo69 4 years ago
There is a picture of the bottom of the device at the overunity forums.
I'm not saying this is overunity, I don't believe that anything can violate CoE... but this is an interesting device

then why does it accelerate without adding energy? unless of course it magically creates its own energy.
