I remember finishing this game on the NES. No saves....you sit down, you play, and you finish. Limited to 3 continues if I remember correctly. Great classic !!!!!!!

I found it's easier to beat this boss using fully loaded level 5 missiles.

thats actually a re-mix of the 2nd boss music. Blaster Master had 2 different boss musics, 3 if you count the music that plays in level 7/final boss.

Watch vids of the brain boss/Giant crab fights vs the from/claw monster and compare the music.

they could have made the explosions of the creatures you killed better. its like a little bleep and it disappear. could of had exclude in green slim or something, making you actually feel like your shooting mutants.

this games awesome, the first boss kicked my ass too. i have toplay it again later and beat him, i know where i messed up, i powered my normal gun up instead of my grenades.

I love how you can strafe using the B button in this. It makes it a lot easier when compared to holding down the grenade button in the original. :D

Well, what I like about it is that I can press my middle finger into the B button of the Wii remote. It's easier for me at least.

to make it easier to shoot upward while walking left and right such as shift: Hold down Z in the back of the controller to do that :D

@Rivalseeker Well, most LPs include running commentary from the person playing, whether he's explaining things about the game he's playing, talking about stuff related to the game, or just talking about other stuff.

-Ah, one thing I forgot to mention in my comment on Pt.2; Another thing you want to do in the top-down areas is collect every gun powerup. They come in quite handy, especially at the higher levels.

not anymore...it looks much easier than the original Blaster master when I played it. used level 5 Gun to have 3 ways gun to shot into his head while walkin left and right... pretty easy boss for me now :D
