These people appear to be part of the dhaneta jat tribe of the thar desert - kutch of northern gujarat - it's a very small number of people relative to other tribes

amazing how people are saying they are gujjar based simply on the fact that they are not farmers but nomadic.

all people in the kutch region are nomadic regardless of caste. In this particular case, this jat tribe is nomadic and represent the small number of jat tribes in kutch/northern gujarat

I am sure you know best. I was reliably informed that this tribe were Jats by a family who had been dealing with them for centuries in Kutch. I shall make further investigations.

I am from eastern part of rajasthan, the shekhawati region bordering Haryana. I havent studied JAT people but since I am from that part of India, I know that JAT people are more into farming and they not nomadic. Infact, they are people having vast lands and are a huge farming community. It could be possible that the people in this video are also JATs with some influence of other nomadic tribes. And yes, India is too complex to understand, too much of complexities and mix ups.

these arent /jats just are one of the wealthiest peaple in india and are high class ppl most jats are in the army i am a jat jats are from punjab peaple dont understand that jats are not indians there origin is from ukraine im serious i dont now how we got brown were indo-Scythian and ancient iranian the scythains invaded punjab when it was under alexanders greek rule they settled there as jatts and they mixed with indians

YOu were hanging with Gujjars, not Jats. Jats come under martial and agricultural community, whereas, Gujjars come under nomads, and herders..
