This little piggy went to Hades, this little piggy stayed home. This little piggy ate raw and steaming human flesh, this little piggy violated virgins. And THIS little piggy clambered over a heap of dead bodies to get to the top.
hy didn't this guy end up getting as big as NIN, or even Ministry? he's very good and i think original enough to be considered a valid artist in the industrial music scene. and yet he's one of the last things you hear about if you're looking into industrial music... you always hear NIN, ministry, skinny puppy, KMFDM, or even that silly monotonous Combichrist shit... why has everyone forgotten about pig?
Yup, also, there's demand for some artists, but they just don't get it.
Why is Chu Ishikawa's and Der Eisenrost stuff so hard to find? Every rivethead loves tetsuo-movies soundtracks, just make them available and somewhere where we can see them and we WILL MOTHERFUCKING BUY THEM.
I want SpK Remasters and reissue, i want that for test dept, cabaret voltaire, clock dva and for many many many many others!
@gombie I'm happy to finish with my PIG collection. It took me 2 years to gather it. Yes, it seems that PIG also don't care if someone buy his stuff or no. I can't understand also not only regarding PIG but a number of other great industrial artists why they even don't sell their shirts? Fans would be happy to support them and proud to weare them. But they better loose their money...
Anything good is difficult to find these days, it's like I'm having Three Doors Down and Lady Gaga shoved down my throat, have to regain my sanity sometimes.
Why don't you fuck me, the way I wanna fuck you? Pig aka Raymondo is the business. A talented musician along with Trent Reznor, Martin Grech, Bill Leeb, Rhys Fulber and Devin Townsend in my opinion. THIS is fucking music!
Therefor, It is impossible for Trent Reznor (who started NIN back in '89 to copy Pig! I'm sure he's a fan, but I wouldn't say he 'Ripped' anything from PIG!
looking at the comments futher I see that it wasn't 'spookypig' that was talking shit, it was 'FAUSTIANDAWN'...ohh..you stupid bitch! -my apologizes spookypig.
I remember catching this video on JBTV Chicago in 1997....and "spookypig" Trent Reznor produced "PIG" not copied PIG you numb nuts...why don't you dig up facts before you talk shit and make yourself look stupid...F*ckin Idiot!
Doesn't matter! I don't believe that Trent Reznor ripped off Pig! Pig didn't sound anything like they do on this album and all the album's that came afterwards.
Well Raymond Watts is a genius in his own right. I don't really believe one is more talented than the other. I used to think Trent was a genius to, but unfortunately he makes shitty disposable mainstream crap these days, his last great album was the Fragile. Raymond hasn't been doing much these days either, though.
Anyway lets just say they influeneced each other... enough said.
actually it's very evident that Trent is severely influenced by many early industrial artists, including Pig. If you listen to some tracks on The Fragile they're almost idtentical to some songs on "Tabula Rasa" by Einsturzende Neubauten (1993) as well as Downward Spiral era NIN uses alot of the same sounds as Pig. Amazingly, pig doesn't believe in samplers...so do the math yourself
That's true, but the new NIN songs just aren't that strong in my opinion compared to his glory days, and they are too minimalist. It seems as if he's not even trying that hard anymore.
I listen Nine Inch Nails around 10 years ago.. and.. wow! I did know anything about PIG.. i finded them, a few min ago at Myspace.. Pig sounds great! What its your favorite album?
haha.. well.. I began to listen KMFDM a few months ago. I love WWIII. I usually listen bands like Meshuggah, Tool, Krux and so on.. metal music... but I love NiN. And industrial its not a popular music at my country. Its hard to find a band
i agree - this is really where i wanted music to be at the time and this is what i wanted industrial to sound like. sinsation was kick ass but this track is too much.
The last time this video ever aired on television was back in 2002-2003 when MTV2 had the "Videos A-Z" where they literally aired every single video in their database. I wish I could find it in good quality
Man when i first heard this song i played it over and over. Genius. I finally found a copy of a stroll in the pork on ebay, cost me £30! but worth it. When music this good comes it it kinda takes over a lot of your life and cash hehe. Met Ray at a ministry gig on London not too long ago. Top bloke.
Her name is Joe, and she is a performance artist friend of Raymond's. That's all that Raymond has ever said about her, really, so not much about her is known.

Why has everybody forgotten about many other industrial bands? Especialy the older.
Because they haven't been active, they're music if hard to find etc.

I for one am sick of people's saying who's a rip-off of whom when it comes to NIN. People need to realize it's called a 'genre'.
jeannec1 3 years ago 2
never for fun is definitely a rip of the beginning of prince's 'if i was your girlfriend' though.
AOCRkid 2 years ago
I haven't actually heard much music from his earliest days (so hard to find these days).
But even if it does, I'm a Prince fan as well and that would just be cool to me I guess.
jeannec1 2 years ago
it's a good song.

yeah, but KMFDM's Godlike totally rips of Slayer, I've begun to accept these things.
If the music's good, who cares? :D
