This video just proves how little advancement we've made between the Xbox and Xbox 360. I mean, yeah the 360 looks better, but god damn Doom 3 looks pretty fucking good. Seven years later, games that look like this cost 40 dollars.Only 10 dollars cheaper than Doom 3 when it came out.

Great video! It seems that you have set 16x on antialiasing, but you forget to restart the game to apply the changes.

The graphics were amazing at the time.. I only had a 256mb graphics card so had to lower everything a touch. Now I have a good PC so I bought this game on Steam again.. it looks awful now... very dated. I downloaded a texture mod but the Specular Shadows were bugged, so I uninstalled it.

maybe go to options and see if there is a way to change it to english if you can't then maybe you got the french version of doom? or maybe when you installed the game you must've picked a wrong language by accident? who knows maybe you should re-install the game again if you consider doing it so?

Well i got a Studio 17... and i play with the exact same settings as Mupp1t except the antilaising. My Configuration is

Vista home Premium 64

2.2ghz

ATI 3650HD 512 mb

3 gb ram

250 Gb 5200rpm HDD

Yeah should run pretty nicely lol u might even be able to run on Ultra.. though dont try and touch the antilaising its way to taxing on the CPU

Only if your PC can't run it. The xbox port is good, but they toned down the graphics a lot, and cut out a pretty good chunk of the story and levels to get it to run there.

Classic Doom and Full metal Jacket are simply awsome mods and impossible on an XBOX, even a xbox 360 would charge you for any mods, assholes they are.
