I would rather A: See Roy re-join the band after a long time of the band 'not being here for a while' or B: Realise that they can't find a good enough replacement for Roy, pack up their shit, leave and go find other bands to work with.

Granted, he's not a founding member, but I didn't start getting into Kamelot until after The Black Halo days and didn't enjoy their first two albums (for obvious reasons).
