  • BEAUTIFUL song. A friend of mine told me about this band. I'm going to see them Nov 2nd.

  • Gorgeous footage. The audio sounds so nice. :D

  • Thank you for posting, this song is amazing, I think it is my new favorite song. How may people were at this concert, looks like just a few, that is really cool. Did you get to meet Chad?

  • Between this show and Dispatch Zimbabwe, this was the best summer of my life.

Yes, I got to hang out with Chad, and Chuck, and Mad Dog and Sybil (who used to be a part of the group, City Year); we sweated together for an entire day doing community service, making a horse riding trail for the disabled. Out of the 50 of us working on the trail, only about 15 of us knew who State Radio even was. Chuck sweats an enormous amount. As you would guess, they're all incredibly humble and kind.

  • I asked Chad when he was doing his acoustic set, and he claimed he said he wasn't. I said he was, and low and behold, A Root Beer Float Reception with about 20 of us (1/2 knowing of State Radio), and two lovely songs. Then about 5 of us hung around and talked to Chad for about an hour.

To top things off, State Radio played a full concert in a 3000 person arena with only about 100 of us there (see my Time Served and Revolutionaries videos).

And best yet, the whole day was free!

  • Wow that is amazing, I am really jealous to say the least. I flew up from South Carolina this summer to see Zimbabwe, and am driving up to Atlanta tomorrow to see State Radio. I can not wait.

  • Your damn lucky haha

  • this is absolutely amazing, thanks for posting!!
