@VVeekendVVarrior they didnt, the awd system is a base line audi gearbox but it is completely stripped down and rebuilt by lamborghini, they build everything to their specs and their designs. they build their cars by hand, they put them together by hand. audi may build it, lambo builds it again, but better same thing with the v10 from audi. lambo stripped out the bi turbo it comes with for the rs6 and made it produce only 20 less hp, and audi took that one and put in the r8. lambo wins.

The ferrari is down on horsepower and 40 kgs heavier.

The extra gear will help it in acceleration but top end is all about power.

top gear test track has 5 ferraris ahead of all the lambos. fastest lambo was 1.22min and fastest ferrari was 1.19min. put a scuderia or 458 against this and its bye bye lambo :):):)

@CarzCrazyPG So basically, the LP560-4 is equally fast to the LP640 from 0 to about 190 MPH where the LP640 gains about 4 seconds on the LP560-4 & continues to 210 MPH while the LP560-4 tops out at 202. The LP560-4 however, has beaten almost every record the LP640 has set around tracks such as Variano, Hockenheim, & the Top Gear test track. I bought a LP560-4 a few months ago, & I must say I am very pleased with it. It's a huge step forward from the original Gallardo. Check mine out in my vids.
