@MrSwampdonkey99 I have lived in Tennessee and in Texas both, and the waters in Tennessee can get really cold, even in summer. I believe this keeps the algae levels low. In Texas the waters get warm enough to allow a lot of algae and slime and stuff to grow.
thats a good idea,but i wouldnt want to do it at my local lake. theres rumors going around that an aligator lives there, and i really wouldnt doubt it... there was one found in st.louis and a couple lakes around there have pirahna in them.someones dumb idea of a joke im guessing.
On most Kentucky Lakes during the summer, the water is that clear or clearer. I've seen Cumberland Lake so clear I could see fish that were over 30 ft deep! Even Green River Lake can sometimes have water so clear you can see over 20 ft deep.
The only problem is, when the water is that clear, it's hard to get anything to bite.

Why dont you just buy a speargun and take it to the next level. I fished alot until i tried spearfishing once. Since then i havent fished even once!
