I agree they have ruined music for they people who love music for what it was meant for TO ENJOY AND TO BE HEARD AND LOVED AND HATED NOT FOR GREED AND M O N E Y wmg sucks and i WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING WITH THEIR NAME ON IT EVER besides corporate crap music really sucks so I do not buy it or listen to it to begin with look at what happened to cry baby metallica now they really suck and lost about all of their fans or the ones that know what crap is
@Tommygun1028 Pat Moraz, played one tour with them, couldnt write with them, replaced by Wakeman for G4T1. Such a treat to hear of Sweet Dreams that tour! [& Astral Traveler is back now]
But- No Beatles' cover here? I see little reason to accept - and I dont believe that this is the complete concert. There's clearly editing in the early sets.
This was their best era that I was fortunately to catch from '74-on, This would have been a great promo from a fan if these overzealous CEOs would stop with their selfish censorship control mongering and let us help promote our fav vids and even help put more money in their pockets for it anyways
This coward attack against freedom is due to Messiers. Edgar Bronfman Jr. and Lyor Cohen, CEOs for WMG. These two fellows are undoubtedly the worst thing that ever happened to WMG, I hope they'll be fired or they'll lead WMG to bankrupt (no wonder their pun names are Edgy Bankruptman Jr. and Lyar Coohen...). My sympathies to Tommy and all YT prog fans community, we hope soon Edgy and Lyar will disappear and music will be free here again.
Both Bronfram Jr and Cohen are filth. Don't take my word for it, go on wikipedia and familiarize yourself with these fine specimens and while doing so, keep in mind they are the hypocrites that deny you a harmless TRAILER with -- god forbid -- a bit of relevant music.
Best band in the world, I've personally loved every incarnation. This is a lovely video, and the current soundtrack suits it quite well. It gives it a very dreamy and retrospective feel. Very well done, I am so glad this popped up in my recommended list on sign-in. From one Yes fan to another- namaste.
It Is Love but do they Share it with US!..I'll settle..Our Only Love For Music Is in Our Classical Selections!...(deepsussex/In The Court of The Crimson King!!!)
liking this. never listened to any yes even though i quite like the old prog rock sounds like floyd and genesis. anyone name a good album by these? and not a 'theyre all good' reply! haha
you can of course come up with all different lists... To me, Fragile and Relayer can't be missed. Then, close to the Edge and Going For the One. Tales From... if you're really patient, I like most of it. Any album from the 80s? You got to be kidding me! I prefer Bono. LOL.
I was expose to Yes when I lived in southern africa in the 1970's but when I moved back to America I realized the Yes music sold in this part of the world was more like a "teeneager version" (statistically less dense) compare to the one sold in Africa where music is a serious business. Am I wrong?
My feeling is your comment is more about personal politics and less about music.
If you lived in Africa in 1977 & moved to America in 1977 it's still going to be the "Going For The One Tour". Maybe 90125 is more popular than Fragile in one place and not another, I don't know. I don't know when you moved back and what's accessible where you live but believe me, 70s Yes is revered as the best Yes music here too in the USA.
No, is not about politic, my point is The version of some Yes songs edited here in North America sound like "simplified" compare to versions I listened to in my year in Africa. (It was not 1977)
well i'm sure those same songs you heard in Africa are available in America or any other country where rock is popular. Again if you're in a certain city where it does not sell or something I don't know. That does not represent the ENTIRE COUNTRY. Whatever versions you heard in Africa Im sure are in the UK, Italy, France, Germany, etc. too
It's partay time man, let's jus'roll one and smoke it, man you've got me going crazzzy man, damn I would've paid good money to see them live, this is gotta be a must have!!!!!
