How do you prevent fish from jumping from the bottom tank?

poor fish .. drowning in a fake feng shui purgatgory with no plant life at all .. just rocks like the yard at sing sing. At least they don't have to listen to that "music". btw .. i iknow you won't like my comment, so save your vulgarities for the parents who raised you.

how does the water not overflow at the bottom if there is air going in the top

@Mckenna385 - I believe the tank is a closed circuit ventilation. The air is being sucked back out at the same speed and amount as its going in. This way the water will stay up in the tank and not rush downwards and overflow the lower tank. Obviously the top tank is sealed air tight but just that the top is constantly circulating air so it appears that there is an air pocket there. You could do this with a class of water in a bucket of water. Partially fill it then lift the glass. pocketed air

is this a saltwater tank? I have no experience with saltwater tanks, but if it s freshwater, you can add some glass cleaning fish, (some of the ancistrus or plecostomus family), so you don t have to clean it at all from the inside, you can add 10 or more these fish to each of these tanks without any problem.

How do you clean the upper tank without taking off the top or submerging yourself in the bottom tank?

you dont clean the upper tank, when you change the water you have to do it with equilibrium.. these tanks are for the most skilled or professional cleaners

youre right, the water will circulate from the upper tank to the lower tank where it can be removed and changed. they probably use a long handled brush to clean te sides, or a magnet scraper.

It's an "air bubbler".. a small air pump connected to some tubing that is hidden..
