@WALKE577 Manual load have their con's too, what if the person drops the grenade, get his hand in the chamber as it closes, don't put the grenade in the chamber correctly or litter follow the greande into the chamber. human loading against mechanical autoload both have their pro's and con's which makes them more or less equal!

mlrs is way more expensive to shoot per round and does littlte for close infantry support. If Archers get the new excalibur round it would be more cost effecient than the Ame American Paladin system. I like my self propelled artillery to be tracked and covered with Armour. Those wheels looks venerable to artillery fragments. May be those are built to resist bullet impacts. anyway i won't buy it.

@karthikbans It's mobility is it's best defence, getting the hell out before the enemy has time to realize where you're firing from. Then again, it's a matter of preferences. Mobility or armor; tracks or wheels, both have advantages and disadvantages.

@karthikbans It sacrifices armour for mobility. I think it can move to one place, fire, and then be ready to relocate within minutes again. Now I'm no artillery expert, but as far as I'm aware that's pretty quick for artillery pieces. Dunno why it isn't tracked, but with the range of that gun I think you could find a reasonable locations that can be reached with wheels.

i dont thing that its heavy enough for tracks to be necessary. which such large tires it should do fine and be fast.

i believe you can start shooting within 30 seconds. and hit 6 rounds on target simultaneously. this is a very impressive war machine.

I think that the Finnish AMOS and NEMO mortar systems are both better than this, mostly because of the mover ability. They may have smaller caliber, but AMOS system has two barrels both 120mm

Arty is for open field support and battles in generally open terrain mortars can be used in confined spaces and help troops in more urban enviroment. Thats y the mortar uses the 120, 80, or 60 mm while arty tends to use bigger rounds. comparing both of them is like comparing apples and oranged the only similarity is theyre both fruit.
