    Cause I want to go twice as fast while spending half as much and running half the boost.

    The VG30E is a great engine for anything up to about 500whp. Anything beyond that, and you better be ready to fix it constantly.

  • Muy buen tiempo, considerando que vive en denver, colorado....la elevacion comparada a otras parts es mucho mas. Si estuviera por decir, aqui en phoenix, az (elevacion de 1,117 pies), de seguro fuera mas rapido el carro!

    That is the goal. I was going for nines that day, but I ended up spinning a rod bearing before I could run high boost. Oh well, fix it, then go break it again. That's just how it goes...

    I don't speak Spanish, but I can see you said something about elevation. Bandimere is at 6300 feet. The DA that day was over 7,500 feet though which is not uncommon for Bandimere Speedway.

    Spanish is a must if you mexican like me :D. Anyway, wow talk about elevation change...thats really crazy how the density can mess with the atmosphere. Must be torture for non-boosted cars up there. :/

  • @p1mpz31 This run was with the VG30ET still. Borg Warner S374 at 22psi. I will not have the VG33 built this year. Instead it is going to be another VG30ET with the Twin Turbo crank. TT crank allows me to run an ATI damper to get rid of torsional vibration which COULD be one of the problems with the rod bearings in these engines, but that is just a big guess. Either way, a good damper is good to have and an SFI rated one is required at these times.

  • hola! el mio es((( troublemaker z . z31 negro))) que se levanta en dos gomas , ya e corrido (9.8seg) a 144 millas .con la suspeccion de fabrica y motor (vg30-t) con los ejes que hace (rafi de junco) hay fotos en (zlegends.com).

    Ahh, you must be Breedz31? I love that wheel stand! I probably could have gotten mine to stand up, but my tires were at 15psi. I have Met Rafi when he came to Colorado. Really nice guy.

    Unless I upped the boost about 8psi, He would hand me my ass after the 1/4 mile was up, or roll racing. He traps 144, I currently only trap 134. I'll change that next season though.

    I was running 22lbs of boost. I don't understand the second part of the question though. This...."'s".... is what I don't understand.
