christina isn't a slut i hate how if people are criticizing someones vocal ability it gets personal and i know that technically lea is much better than christina but christina has a strong voice and shows it off both versions are nice in thier own ways

No, she wasn't Ariel. She was, although, the singing voice of Jasmine in Aladdin alongside Brad Kane who was the singing voice of Aladdin. I simply adore her! Miss Saigon is my fav...

Great voice. Actually in The Little Mermaid Jodi Benson was the voice for Ariel but maybe if you are referring to Part of Your World it does sound but I don't think so.

I'm afraid you're mistaken. she was Ariel in the Little Mermaid like 7 years earlier (estimating here). she was an adult then too. She's probably in her late 30s.

Christina Aguilera's version was the marketable, music video version. Lea Salonga actually provided Mulan's singing voice for the movie.
