@barrygish some parts i got lost too. but its mostly going on the subway back and forth to locations. i couldnt find a building in the beginning for mad long. but once u get use to it you will be ok . i hope u finish it because the ending is one of the best i ever seen.

@shadowkid1993 Well i Finnished the game 3 times, there are side missions and what not to find which you can miss if you just go from point a to b on your first play through. Plus you collect phone numbers which when you dial unlock content such as art and you find costumes for you darklings and there are a ton of those to find. the thing is the game is like 5 years old now so it may seem pretty dated to more moden games but it's still a ton of fun.
@SufferTheMasses My advice would be get this now play it once and wait for the darkness 2 which is out in october check out the gameplay footage on here. But yeah i woukld still put this game in my xbox and i got it when it first came out the story alone is more than enough to keep you playing.
Get this game... It is cheap, but I would have spent 30$ AT LEAST on it. It's one of the best games I have ever played honestly. @imnotstoned12 Sorry Euphoria isn't really an an all encompasing engine it's more of a physics engine that can work within other engines (i think, definetly not an expert) like Havok physics. I don't think The Darkness ran on the Unreal Engine, I think it ran on the same engine as Call Of Juarez BIB. The point I was making is that Black Holes in The Darkness are cool but the enemies that get sucked up into it just turn to ragdolls, with euphoria they would be trying to grab on to things etc.
i thought it was okay... I just didn't the open/closed world feel of the game. At least at the earlier part. Stopped playing pretty early cause i couldn't figure out where to go and I kinda hated how enemies would just pop out of no where for no apparent reason.
Sadly,this game has a serious game-breaking glitch in one of the earlier levels.I've yet to see a patch,and I never seem to get through the glitch even though I've tried really hard.
They need to make another Darkness this game even after a couple of years graphicly and mechanics beat most of the games coming out now sooooo underated :(
I have not watched this clip yet but im 100% they will trash it just like every other game and compare it to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, lets see if im right....

Absolutely! It's a game that I took a chance on and rented when it first came out despite the mediocre reviews. Beat it, and recently I purchased it for another play-through. The multiplayer isn't so hot, but the single player campaign is very well done. Controls are good, powers are cool, and the story is excellent. For sure pick it up.

@TheRazorWolf I bought this game on release date, and to this day I can still pick it up and throughly enjoy myself with it, and that cost me $60, so yes it's definetly worth $15. It's just a really unique FPS that features a good story and very enjoyable gameplay.

Absolutely! It's a game that I took a chance on and rented when it first came out despite the mediocre reviews. Beat it, and recently I purchased it for another play-through. The multiplayer isn't so hot, but the single player campaign is very well done. Controls are good, powers are cool, and the story is excellent. For sure pick it up.

This game is too dark the otherworld level is gonna kills me everytime i play it
so desperate so hellish so much that i could feel the dead the atmosphere is
too creepy and i feel so bad i'm not gonna play it again after a week.
Graphics is great and gameplay should have been called the the darkness side
of First person shooter game it so satisfying and often too much i felt like i really
killed someone in cold blooded and even eats their hearts!
Technically it 8.5 but psylogically it 5.
