Me recuerda a Jimmy Page!
I own a beautiful Ibanez AK95 (honeyburst) and have owned an AF75 (redburst) before, and I believe I am qualified to suggest a few things to anyone who is interested in Ibanez hollowbodies: #1. A good amp does wonders...I strongly suggest either Peavey Bandit, Tech 21 TM 60, or a Fender Frontman 65R. Oddly, these amps so beautifully complement the brightness of the Ibanez pickups, as tube amps seem to magnify the inherent brightness of the guitar. I strongly recommend SIT Jazz lights strings
guys im thinking of getting this, but i have heard that archtop guitars dont do too well when put at high volumes with any amount of distortion, they produce wayy too much feedback, is this true??? what experiences have you guys had with em???
@ferlice Thanks! I'm undecided between the AF75 or AG75 (slightly smaller body) or even the AS73T (body is 43mm in depth and it has a central block for bit more sustain/less feedback...and probably less rich jazzy tone too) although having said that I hardly never use high gain distortion in my playing. I'll say it again, your playing is awesome!! Thanks for your reply!
I got one a couple of years ago, great jazz Box. But, I had to pawn it due to Bush. I live in NC, Ha! I plan to get another one in Red Burst, and yes he is good. wow!
I'm considering buying this guitar, I'll play mostly jazz but probably some funk/blues/R&B as well. Would you recommend it? I've tried it, I like the feel and I love the sound... But how does it wear out?
Do it man; I have the same guitar. It's about 4 years old, I've had it for two and it sounds as beautiful as ever. The previous owner, a friend, agrees :-)
i REALLY want to go about learning jazz like this, im allready a intermediate guitar player, i know a few jazz chords but i dont really know where to start learning to play like this can anyone give me some advice as to what i should start learning/practicing
Buy the jody fisher jazz instructional books from amazon. They're super great, they go through everything from basic theory all the way up to modal theory in the first book, and then the intermediate and mastering books expand on the begginer one (obviously). Really good stuff, and enjoyable too
hey man beautiful playing man. im looking into buying a hollow body and am interested in the ibanez AF75. cause im not the most wealthy of people lol. but ive herd its an excellent guitar especially for the price so im just wondering if you agree.
I think this is a good option over guitars in the same price is like a L5 in a cheaper version with a nice warm sound. But you can go to the store and try others until you take the best choice.. :D good playing

Hello,
I have just bought a Cube 15x.
I am absolute beginner.
I am starting my jazz guitar classes.
I would like to know the better way to configure this ampli for jazz music. It is going to be connected to my Ibanez AF75.
Thanks a lot.

Hi, what is better for this guitar, 10 or 11 strings? :) Thanks :)
Kewinko 2 years ago
I think it depends if you gona play many styles or only jazz.. use a thicker set of string for jazz and standar (9 - 42) for blues or rock
Cheers!
ferlice 2 years ago
What kind of strings are you using? Flatwound or roundwound? Thanks...
