i was able to rest it but in options it will not let me select the parental controllers it just has grey text i just cant seem to select it... it was a free ps2 so cantt complain that much

@Crickin4 Yeah it has to be set, initially it is off, just a safe measure for parents to regulate the types of media that can be used on the system.
